Guest guest
I was taught that dehydration causes day long morning sickness as well as a lack of B-6 and B-12. Just thought I would let you know. Sometimes while preggers, you might need to do very lightly steamed veggies etc. instead of totally raw. Listen to your body. SOme of the things we do as raw are onthe harsh side (some cleanses, and some ingredients to dishes) that are just too much for us. so maybe you could be leaning more towards avacados, nuts and fruit... very simplex meals, with foods closer tothier picked fromthe tree or garden state and less of the more complex " cooking " I'm a midwife in my former life, so thats just my rake on it. Listen to your body.... if totally raw is a bit to much right now, very lightly steam some veggies... perhaps simple juices with only one or two ingrdients would help as well. On the Gerd, Dr. Batmanghelji " Your Bodies many cries for water " teaches that drinking two cups of water before eating will ease gerd and lower high cholestrol. Also if you do have heartburn while preggers, to drink two cups of water, thirty minutes apart. Great book... Hope this helps
Guest guest
Hi That was my first try at something really raw for a long time. I have gone way of track lately and been eating all the bad things lots of bread and sweets etc. But yes that is my thinking too now more of mono type diet. Oh and I never got morning sickness ever just dry reach at bad smells like dirty nappies and things like that sometimes. We get a new juicer today as my other one died a couple of weeks ago after only a year and it had a 5 year warranty so they replaced it. That will go a long way to helping me get back on track. I'm not real big on greens raw lettuce is OK but that's about it. I love juicing English Spinach with Apples, Carrots and Ginger so that can be my green intake through juices. My kids although not raw are the perfect example of simple eating they will grab an apple, carrot, cucumber, celery and other fruit and just eat it on its own. I definately feel that is where I am going wrong with going raw trying to worry about complex recipes when simple things are best. A midwife in your former life that is very intersting and great that you remember. Thanks for your help. Blessings Tracey No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
What ingredients did you change?? Hi Suzi I left out the soy sauce and I didn't have any corn. I used an instant Red Miso soup cool to get some sea veges etc. It tasted OK I think it was just too much when I am not used to eating raw at all anymore. Been really bad lately. Like 's idea which is what it decided this morning more of a mono type simple raw diet. Tracey No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
Yep, it was probably a "shock" to your system as the way you have been eating... start simple and do some juicing and go slowly.
