Willow Bark:

Indians (American aborigines) chewed willow bark before the "white" man arrived to alleviate pain. I think I've heard that some tribes in Africa have found other plants that serve the same purpose. Aspirin is a derivative of acetylsalicylic acid which occurs naturally in many plants including willow. The remedies may have been "yucky" but they worked.

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.

Most HFS should carry it.. probably in tincture form... if not order it from one of the companies in the resources file.

Ok I should have this Willow Bark in my pantry. Where do you get it? I suppose a health food store. I’ve never bought such a thing. I’ll be going to the health food store tomorrow for a raw food cooking demonstration.
