Guest guest
Yes, I watched the program. I feel that it was an overall good documentation of the possible outcome of vaccines, but I think they should have spent more time covering how to detect a possible reaction. Many parents do not realize that a reaction is occuring, and continue vaccinating their children! Our son's doctors insisted that despite the fact he had reactions, they were not life threatening. We were not given the choice when our children were born, we were told it was the law and both were given this vaccine at less than 18 hours old. Guest guest
Thats the trouble with much of the media coverage - the same applied for Gulf War Syndrome. When you utilize the media, you invariably have no control over the end product.

Guest guest
, I received several calls after the show, some from people not even involved in the anthrax issue, and they said 20/20 must have been bought out by the Pentagon! Sam son sounded like he was attacking at times. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the presentation but if it helped only a few it made an impact. Guest guest
Toronto - Guy 20/20 spent 3 hours at our town hall meeting at the Herkimer College. Mr. Pawlinga, a decorated WWII veteran, stood up and applauded our efforts to halt this vaccine until further studies and new vaccine can be made. You didn't see Mr. Pawlinga on 20/20. I think the media is forgeting who and what America is and stands for. We were careful to present only facts and provided handouts of the FDA reports, the warning letter to MBPI, VAERS forms, etc., being careful to make sure the entire press present had a copy first. Time to write a lot of letters.
Guest guest
20/20 taped the whole meeting in Herkimer, so they knew all the info about what was wrong with the vaccine and chose not to present it. However, the American people will watch that show and KNOW it isn't telling the whole story and they'll start wondering about what really IS wrong with the vaccine... Things are heating up. Several people have suggested to me that we push with letters to the editor, correcting the omissions and comissions in the recent stories in the national news (like NY Times, Boston Globe, Army Times etc.) I think it's an excellent idea. Guest guest
Kind of curious, the reactions to 20/20 viewing, by list members. 2 negative and 1 positive. Not taking anybody's inventory here, but actually see it as an opportunity to evaluate our approach, public relations and consideration of media manipulation. I am on Pacific time, so do not see it until 10 PM, over an hour from now. Perhaps we should keep close track of all of our responses and use it as constructive opportunity, for our next round with the media. I can't tell you how proud I am of all of you. Let's learn from this and move on. Thanks Jeff (and all the others), for standing in the line of fire. Thanks for all you are doing. It's important. Guest guest
I did speak with the media, they did have all the facts. They filmed a three hour town meeting in Herkimer, New York and chose not to air Dr. Meryl Nass' comments regarding the studies she has done over the past 10 years on the vaccine, nor any of the concerned parents like myself who has a son suffering adverse reactions after receiving vaccines out of the expired lot. They used Jim and Martha O'Neil as an attention grabber only. I myself provided them with the FDA inspection report showing expired and contaminated lots that have already been given, along with the Adverse Reaction report, warning letters from the FDA to MBPI, and several other factual documents. I have been dealing with the media for the past year, and find that they air what they want no matter what facts you provide them with. I went as far as faxing the current VAERS report I obtained just yesterday to the producer at 11:00 pm last night in hopes she would get it in time to fit it into the segment. She either didn't get it in time, or did not feel it was significant. Once again, I would like to mention that the military is NOT reporting adverse reactions to the vaccine. The service member needs to do this himself. If all adverse reactions were reported by the military, this may have been a very different story. Please keep in mind, they reported 1/2 of 1% suffer systemic reactions. When given to 2.4 million people, this number becomes 12,000. What would this number be if all adverse reactions were reported? I am also blowing steam, not real happy with the segment. My goal from the very beginning of this battle has been to raise public awareness, and hopefully this segment did do that. I also hope it will possibly generate interest from other major news magazine programs. I will continue speaking with the media, as we have made a great impact thus far. Guest guest
Well, I just viewed the 20/20 mockery of the anthrax protest. It was very obvious to me, coverage was biased: in favor of the military establishment, over those who wear the uniform in favor of government policy, over human rights & informed consent and in favor of power & money, over good sense and good health Of course, I have my bias, in this matter too!!! Guest guest
Rick, I agree with you totally. We have been too kind. We have put our trust in the wrong people (20/20)! I can't believe that Barbara Walters was so appalled at what the President did to and didn't even comment on what they are doing to our children. The President walked away without even a slap. Many of the American people keep saying " he has done a good job, look at our economy. " Well, our sons and daughters are doing a great job and they should be commended not dishonorable discharged. Nothing was mentioned about the coercion to get these young people to take this vaccine. Nothing was said about those that have gotten very sick from the vaccine. If that one person who is sick is your son/daughter, that is one too many. I just received a call from a WWII veteran. He is writing a letter to the President of the Untied States. He is so angry about what they are doing to our kids. The Bible says, " be angry and sin not. " Now lets get angry! (315) 894-3101
Guest guest
I was actually shocked to watch this segment last nite. The commentators made it sound like those refusing were only concerned about health issues 30 years from now. I don't know how much Jeff was able to tell them, nor how much they cut from what they had available to them. However, if I were a concerned parent who had no other information, I would encourage my child to have the vaccine to protect himself. The public needs to be aware of the numbers that have actually refused...has to be over 100...and the negative reactions that have occurred and to what severity they have disabled those lives. I am glad they included the segment on the plant and that the FDA was considering closing it. Just my thoughts on the media letdown. Guest guest
My son called this evening. He said 20/20 crews were on the base in ville, NC. He said they tried to interview him regarding the vaccination. He opted for a " no comment " response as he has already informed his superiors that he is refusing the vaccine. Felt his boat was already rocking and chose not to say any more. Again, he emphasized that many of the guys in his squadron are scared, but they feel they have no choice. His first shot date is slated for the first week in April. Please keep him in your prayers. I am contacting my representatives in hopes of some relief for him. It was wonderful to have a fellow LP man on who has a profession which is admirable-an orthopedic physician. I hope that the many average people out there who think we cannot accomplish such a feat, watched that show and think. Hats off to that Doctor! Guest guest
Hi, Yes my family and I saw it. I only saw the Daili paintings inspired serial killer story in the promo or we could have taped it. We thought it was very well done. Both girls were adorable. They say both of them are going to the Minnesota conference. I hope to meet them since I also have a rare form of dwarfism called Seckel Syndrome. In fact, they sound and look simiar to me. The high pitched voices, receding chins and the thin, proportional body stucture. I'm 45 and 1/2 inches tall and weigh only 34-36 pounds. Maybe LPA can write or email Bob Brown and/or 20/20 to congratulate them on deciding to do and air the story and on the wonderful way it was presented. Guest guest
Barbara...I saw that segment also and went in the chat room after the program was over. I am still not sure how I feel about him and his goal for his acting career. The choices that he made are what he feels that hopefully will be the right ones for his career. The chat room had a moderator to screen the questions that were given to . I asked only 1 question and made 1 statement that I didn't think that were too personal, but the moderator did not forward either one to and they were as follows: 1) Do you have any brothers or sisters? 2) Danny DeVito has done quite well with his career considering his size and appearance, I am sure that you will also. When I notice that neither appeared in the chat room, I finally gave up since they seem to be looking for certain questions and/or statements which seem to be related to the 20/20 segment. Did any one else see the segment or go into the ABC News chat room? Ann
Guest guest
I thought the 20/20 segment for was well done. Not great, but it was pretty good. Personally, I felt the reporter acted somewhat condescending (eg: looking down at him most of the time) that annoyed me more than anything. Anyhow, I admire that is going to put his acting career ahead (lets hope most of it is positive, like his NYPD Blue gig) than of anything else in his life. It takes a lot of guts to commit oneself to such a goal. Meanwhile, it saddened me to hear that may shorten his lifespan due to his decision - since he doesn't plan on taking growth hormones/testrone. Which in turn, he won't have children.. yet he's pursuing his life dream. Maybe this is something we can compliment 20/20 on. Guest guest
I am very glad to have read this. I know every word is a lie. Aspartame does all kinds of stuff. My friend did not have any idea, she just would drink coke or pepsi with Aspartame to lose weight. After awhile she had the horrible headaches, neausea etc. As far as sugar goes, I classify it in the drug category. I am a sugarholic so I know a lot about it. It is bad and no child should ever even taste it. I will not deny that I love cake, pie, Sees Candy. I am selective not just any old sugar. I am trying for all I am worth to keep away from sugar. Do not tell me it is not adicting, it is. It is harder to quit sug. that quit cigarettes, I was able to quit cigarettes not that hard. I think I am also going to whip the sugar addiction. If we get right down to it, Caffeine is also a drug. I am not going to say to get rid of coffee, because We have some rights left and drinking coffee certainly is one of them. In fact Aspartame is never going to go, it makes too much money for someone, probably Monsanto. They seem to like to do us in with their synthetic food. sharon
Guest guest
I did see the 20/20 special on Mannatech and ambrosia. I really felt for the girl with the brain cancer and when she learned that after taking it I did not do anything for it. I also was very shocked at what the undercover cameras found and the nasty email that girl got from Mannatech that told her to stop talking to the news people. Then when I also saw the list of " issues " that they were told to target and saw Down Syndrome and Autism, I nearly fell off my couch.
