Guest guest
Thank you, Don. This makes perfect sense. The old injuries stem from a horrific car accident and after spending 3 years on my back, doing what the medical doctors told me to do and not getting better but worse, I started seeking alternative medicine - Reiki and chiropractic. I remember the chiropractic visits back then - I would come home in so much pain I couldn't stand it. The chiropractor told me at the time that the muscle damage I suffered was so bad the muscles were atrophied, full of blood clots and dead tissue, etc., and what he was doing was restoring the blood flow to the muscles - that's where the pain was coming from. I've recovered (some) from those injuries over the years but with the kind of work I do (computer work) both at my " regular " job and the small business I have here at home, I've developed repetitive motion injuries (very real stuff, those repetitive motion injuries) and massive mouse knots in my shoulders and arms. It took months of regular therapeutic massage and chiropractic last year to alleviate the mouse knots and repetitive injuries. My work schedule since January has me in the same boat I was in last year before the therapy, so it makes perfect sense that the Cayenne has opened the blood flow to those areas and they are trying to heal themselves. The chiropractic visit today was heaven! I feel so much better, although the pain is still constant in the shoulders and neck. I have 2 chiro visits scheduled for the first of next week, along with a therapeutic massage and am going to get into a regular schedule and keep it. I don't think I will stop the Cayenne but will keep taking it. I may cut out one capsule a day and see if that makes a difference in the pain. I can certainly feel the capsule dissolve after taking it, even with food. I call it " the bloom " , LOL - I can really feel the heat in my stomach. And to think I almost ordered the 100,000 HU Cayenne! Thanks for your input. I think you're right on! ============================= Hi , Cayenne stimulates blood flow. It helps open up all those capillaries, veins, arteries, etc. It is possible that what you are feeling is actual blood getting to those areas that may have had a somewhat subdued blood flow. This will cause more pain in the area. If it is too uncomfortable then I would suggest you A) cutting down the dosage or cutting it all out together and see what happens. Cayenne is a stimulant. Visiting the chiro might be a good idea along with the massage. Play around with the amount you are taking and see how it affects your body. Pay real close attention to what your body tells you. -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
I would also take some homeopathic Arnica for those old accident injuries. Arnica doesn't care how old the injuries are; it helps the body dispel shock and trauma. For something horrific and old, I'd take a dose of 200C, probably once in the AM and once in the PM and see what happens. If you get some relief and then it backs off, take another dose. It can't hurt you and can help a lot, along with the Reiki and chiropractic. Sharyn > -----Original Message----- > > Thank you, Don. This makes perfect sense. Guest guest
It's a staple in my first aid kid, ....in both the 30C and 200C potencies. Just make sure you are learning about *homeopathic* Arnica; the herb itself can be poisonous if ingested. Guest guest
Me, too. Forgot to mention that. But it's still only for external use.
