Guest guest
Me too. I have fibromyalgia and as a result feel pain more intensely than a normal person. That is why I would like to know how I could learn how to do this. I don't think it is intuitive. There must be some techniques. mSuzanne <suziesgoats@...> wrote: Cool Janelle. Guest guest
Well I find that if I am looking for my pain (like when a gp wants to know where and " how much " it hurts) I then become aware of my pain and yeah I hurt a lot. I also have fibro. But somehow I know how to block it; some because I grew up with bad headaches and migraines and my mom does not get headaches (she called them all psychosomatic). When I was a kid I practiced walking on very sharp gravel barefoot until I could block out the hurt. --- Reilly <setlikeflint@...> wrote: > Me too. Guest guest
I have it too and sometimes I don't realise how bad it is until someone touches me. I know it hurts a lot but when someone actually touches me it really makes it 100 times worse. One doctor asked me one day if my lower back hurt (I was there because of my upper back and headache) I said not much......he pressed lightly on my lower back and I jumped off the table. My upper back hurt so much that I didn't even know that my lower back hurt too. Kathy L. Guest guest
I can identify with that. It is b/c that the one part hurts so much that it overpowers the other. Sometimes even my hair hurts. mKathy L <angeldestiny@...> wrote: I have it too and sometimes I don't realise how bad it is until someonetouches me.
