Guest guest Posted May 5, 2005 Report Share Posted May 5, 2005 Herbs For The Face: Use in steams, creams, scrubs, masks, lotions, etc. DRY SKIN: Acacia, clover, cowslips, elder flower, honeydew melon, violet, yarrow, almond, castor, cocoa butter, olive and peanut oils. · OILY SKIN: Cucumber, lemon, lemon grass, rose, witch hazel, corn, cottonseed, poppy seed, safflower, sesame and sunflower oils. · DRY, OILY, OR NORMAL SKIN Avocado oil, chamomile vinegar, honey, mink oil, mint, rose vinegar, apple cider vinegar, wheat germ oil BLACKHEADS Elder flower, fresh myrtle flower, fresh rue, vitamin A, wheat germ oil PORE REFINING Almond meal, aloe vera gel, barley water, buttermilk, chamomile, camphor water, cornmeal, egg white, elder flower water, honey, oatmeal, strawberry, tomato pack, apple cider vinegar Method for preparing: Infuse herbs in any oils mentioned above, strain and cool and use in your favorite facial cream recipe. Or infuse in distilled water and add some to a plain cream found in health food stores. Also can add herbs to boiling water for a facial steam, place head over bowl with very hot water and herbs, place towel over head and stay for 5-10 minutes. Suzi What is a weed?
