Hi ,

According to ny herbal notes from Asutralasian College of

Herbal Studies :-

Yellow dock contains a hydroxy anthraquinone glycoside called

Chrysophanic Acid which is responsible for its laxative action. It

also contains the anthraquinone emodin, which has the opposite effect, thus

checking the laxative action. Yellow Dock is a good example of herbs

used to treat opposing conditions. Because of these 2 substances it

acts as a regulator.

I have not used it myself

Of course it may not be suitable in your case, and also I guess

you have not found the underlyiing cause for the diarrhoea have you?

Did it stem from your liver problems?

Persian

Hi ,

I would advise a supervised fast for you. I know bread is tight but I do

believe a fast will handle your problems once and for all. Something to

consider my friend.

Good information. Thanks, Persian!

I don't know if it was caused or is related to my past

liver problems, but I wouldn't be surprised. At this

point, I cannot remember if they both started at about

the same time. I'll ask my wife, and also check some

of my older journals.

Peace, love, laughter
