I tried Ginger capsules, ginger tea, ginger in cooking, gingerale......anything the midwife could come up with and still lost weight. Had to resort to Diclectin which has been used here for over 20 years. It is made up of an antihistomine and b-6 combo......but it is the only thing that worked. Tried red raspberry tea as well....didn't work for nausea but it did work for shortening labours down from over 30 hours to 1 1/2 hours so I totally have good things to say about that one.

BTW.....have had 9 babies so lots to compare with.

Kathy,

You will find that what works for one may not work for another in some herbs... I found this with my father.. and the DIL... she tried candied ginger first, nothing, then capsules.. then I made her some capsules with REAL ginger... VOILA.. it worked for her... Red raspberry is another that sometimes works for nausea.

I hate to say it but ginger was totally useless to me. I tried it in most of my pg's and notta.
