Jina ============================ Hi Jina, Sure would be great if we could lose it overnight. Unfortunately, nature has her own designs. Do you spend lots of time walking, standing on concrete? Seems I recall your mentioning that you work in a warehouse? Concrete is one of the worst things ever invented by man for standing and walking on. It has no give whatsoever. Hence, your body takes the pounding, or should I say your feet, legs and lower back take the pounding of daily walking, standing or jumping onto concrete. When I was playing factory worker (spent 23 years at it) pounding the cement day in and day out I had very much the same problems. One thing I found, for my feet anyway, was to fill the tub with icy cold water and dump in as many ice cubes as possible or several large ice blocks. Then shove my painfully aching feet into that. I would leave them in there until my feet became numb and then I would just allow them to warm up naturally by themselves. I can tell you they felt like clouds on the ends of my legs afterwards. No pain, none, nada, nicht, nyet. The type of shoe you wear can have a large impact (no pun intended) on the pain as well. I have basically flat feet. I found that using any shoes with arch supports only made my feet hurt worse but if I wore my moccasins or go barefoot (not real conducive in the work environment) then I had minimal pain if any. You might also consider doing or taking up some form of yoga to help with your lower back. Just my thought. -- Peace be with you, Jina.
