To be totally honest with you Toni, I don't know other then somebody

decided that adding an acid to an inorganic source of iron made that

iron more bioavailable to the human body. While this stuff could taste

nice (from some distorted point of view) I do not believe that the iron

is of any use as it is still inorganic. Best is to just eat raw tender

green leafy vegetables, lettuces, and fresh biologically classified

fruits (cucumbers, zuchinnis, tomatoes, and normal types of fruits like

bananas, fig, persimmons, apples etc). This way your body will get all

the organic minerals that it needs including the best protein for our

species in the proper amount.
