Guest guest
Hello Friends, I've just realized, through research, that the bumps all over my arms, legs, buttocks and cheeks is most likely a skin disorder called " keratosis pilaris " . It is where the excess dead skin collects around hair follicles and basically makes little " pimples " . Some websites have said that scrubbing will aggravate. Some say that extremely intensive moisture is the key (though i sweat badly if i use heavy moisturizer) and some say that a dermatologist perscribing an alpha hydroxy lotion to slough off and keep the follicles clear will help. does anyone have any experience with this? or any ideas on how to help naturally? Thanks so much, Anne
Guest guest
I can't vouch for this but years ago I had the same condition. Lumps on upper arms and I had them for years. Like permanent goose bumps. Then I decided to start taking Vitamin C tablets for no reason. And it wasn't till sometime later I noticed the bumps had all gone and I havent had them since. That was years ago and the first time I ever took a vitamin supplement. Jen
