I make similar recipe to your mom's but add some olive oil at times, but thin slices. Wow. Planted lots of armenian cukes. These are the best. They grow super large and long...maybe 3'. No kidding 3'. Hope I have a bumper crop. Too bad we can't cukes or can we. Shari? I haven't canned in years.

Suzi,

Is Kathy Ramsey, wife of Dave Ramsey? The Vegetable Marindae recipe sounds great and simple.

Suzi,

thanks for reading my mind. Yes, I was talking about shipping or trading cukes. No kidding these Armenian cukes weigh several pounds...they are heavy! I don't hardly cook so that's why I don't do "pickles." I used to make delish dill or sour pickles. Maybe it's been 20 or more years not having done that. Once I get my camera operational again, played with lots of buttons so have to get back to Best Buy for help, maybe we can post our summer crop pictures. Right now I have to pray for veggies to grow as I started planting really late. Still don't have herbs in. Need help getting the tons of weeks out of one large box.
