Guest guest
Suzie, Thanks for the list. Homeopathy is an understudied realm for me. I do use the arnica montana a lot though, that works great for hiking pains. Don't like the gel as much as I do the pills. Looking at a homeopathic materia medica bugs my eyes out, it's a bit too much to take in all at once. I figured there must be a core group that worked most of the time on the acute stuff and then a whole of odd ball stuff for specific situations. Thanks for a pointer in that direction. Currently I've got some potato bugs tincturing in vodka and my intent is to make a homeopathic tincture to mix into a bucket and spray on my potato plants to nuke the little bastards, ah, I mean, I'm feeding the plants with the vibration that the potato bugs would have provided the ill plant it needed to restore it's balance. Hehe, it's interesting that the potato bugs are in the parent's more conventional rows and not in my biointensive beds yet. Might be something to that theory about feed the plants what they need properly and they'll won't fall prey to disease and insects. Works for us to, feed us chemicals and quick fix foods and one invites a whole host of illnesses to come and feed. I thought the bugs would be an interesting test of the homeopathic theory of " like treats like " principle. Anyone read Secrets of the Soil?
