am now taking something that is grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange seed extract. Nasty stuff, but we'll see if it's working next time I see one of them.

Grapefruit seed extract is the worse tasting stuff in the world, but, ya know...the stuff really works to kill Candida. I'm sure the stuff you're taking is even worse tasting!! GSE is the best thing I''ve ever come across for yeast and bacteria related problems and I've tried a zillion things.

Hi Shari,

Are you exhibiting symptoms of Candida? Are you using any oils and fats

in your diet? To the best of my limited knowledge, and I could very well

be wrong, an iridologist cannot ascertain that ones problems are due to

candida or bacteria or what. They can surmise however. If you are using

any fats or oils in your diet might I recommend that you remove them or

severely limit them. Candida thrives on sugar and when you have a lot of

sugar in your blood candida will be there to help clean up. If you are

overrun with candida then you must have too high of a blood sugar level.

This tells me that the sugar is not leaving your blood and getting into

the cells where it needs to be. The major cause of this is fats and

oils. They tend to congest the blood and make it very, very difficult

for sugars to exit the blood and to be taken up by the cells. This puts

a tremendous load on your pancreas as it has to pump out even more

insulin to attempt to ram the sugar into the cells through the fats and

oils in the blood.

Just something for you to think about. You should not need to take any

nasty tasting stuff to rid your body of candida. It will happen by

itself once you remove the cause.

Peace be with you, Shari.

Hi Shari,

Yes, it is true that we all have Candida. Nobody is free from it. You

will never get rid of candida entirely either. If that is the only fats

and oils in your diet then I would tend to believe that maybe there may

be an error in judgement. Your body cannot be overrun with candida if

you are symptom free. If you are symptom free then I really would not

concern myself with attempting to erradicate something that you will

never entirely erradicate anyway.

Just my thoughts Shari and nothing more.

Peace be with you, Shari.

There is a simple blood test that can be done by even the allopathic docs that will tell you if you have a problem with Candida. I would not rely on the iridologist or intuitive to diagnose Candida.

It is estimated that 80% of Americans have Candida...not surprising as to what SAD does to American's health.

Now Don, you are scaring me and confusing me regarding fats in the diet. Are you speaking of animal fats or ALL fats including vegetable fat?

From all I know, which I admit is limited, you would be setting yourself up for death with NO fats at all in your diet.

So be it if that is what you believe. I will disagree and continue to eat Avacados, one of the healthier foods on the planet....everything of course in moderation.

I would suggest not worrying too much about your blood sugar level.

Remember that all these so called levels are the norm for sick folks who

do not eat properly or healthily. If you cut anything cut back on the

fats and oils. These are what keep the sugar in the blood instead of it

passing through to the cells. Cut down on the avocados and eggs or the

olive oil. A little fat in the diet goes a long ways.
