Guest guest
Suzi, Thanks for below. The bunion, from my understanding, is a bone deformation, not a growth as wart would be. Therefore, I can't imagine the bone falling off, but need it to line up in it's proper order and size. Thanks. carolSuzanne <suziesgoats@...> wrote: Here's what to do for immediate relief and to prevent bunions from getting worse.Try ice. If your bunion feels hot and swollen, it may be inflamed. Cool it down by applying a cloth-covered ice pack, suggests Marika Molnar, PT, director of West Side Dance Physical Therapy in New York City. "I like to use a Ziploc-type resealable plastic bag half-filled with water and crushed ice and wrapped in a damp cloth," she says. Apply for 10 or 15 minutes, then remove for a few minutes to let your foot warm up before applying again. If you have circulation problems in your feet or diabetes, you're better off avoiding ice for any foot problems. Got any comfrey salve? this may also help if it is inflamed. Ok, found it... it is for planter warts but I would try it for the bunion. Remove Planter's Warts with banana peels. Before bedtime tape a banana peel inside to the skin, over the wart, and cover with a bandage. Within a couple of days the wart will be gone. Suzi What is a weed? Guest guest
But is the skin swollen/hardened? Try soaking your foot in raw (Braggs or Spectrum) apple cider vinegar every day (even twice) for at least 20 minutes.... ACV is supposed to decalcify... this is another idea if it is just the bone. You can also drink acv/honey every day (equal parts diluted with water) SuzicarolG <cgiambri@...> wrote: Suzi, Thanks for below. Guest guest
Hey Suzi, The bone feels tender. Touching the hump feels very tender. I can really feel the bone. Are you thinking it needs decalcying when it's like an overgrown bone that was caused by small shoes in childhood? I believe I have raw apple cider vinegar. Need to check. Warm water? What about ginger compresses? Adding accupressure to the area is very hurtful. With past problems with teeth I would prefer to not put the ACV in my mouth. I do think it is just the bone. Guest guest
Yes, and ok, just soak the foot in acv only, no water. I'm not sure that ginger will do what you are wanting. What past problems with teeth?? You lost me on this one with the acv. Suzi (who went to bed and couldn't sleep) carolG <cgiambri@...> wrote: Hey Suzi, The bone feels tender. You see your bones are made of minerals and that comes from the earth. The earth is a great healer of bones. Packing it in mud, either out your backdoor or bentonite will probably be quite beneficial. You also should consider shoe style as well. Do not wear any closed shoes. Sandals or go barefoot. Soaking repeatedly in hot water-coldwater, hot water-cold water can help as well with pain and swelling. A natural diet of raw organic leafy greens and lots of fresh organic fruits will help immensely. These are just my thoughts. -- Peace be with you, Carol. Keep your thoughts positive and use positive creative visualization. Stick that foot in the mud or dirt pile and visually see that bone realigning and healing. Give your body the proper nutrients that it can only get from raw foods and if necessary....fast! -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
That mud trick works AWESOME on chronic sore and swollen hands and finger joints. It wasn't just a shorterm treatment, with three applications the problem was cured. Glad to see it mentioned.
Guest guest
Suzi, Teeth...I was introducing that as thinking AVC like lemon...I know lemon very hard on the enamel of the teeth...not sure if AVC falls into that category, but was thinking so. This is why I was thinking soak definately much better for me....I can discuss teeth another time...right now, the bunion if feeling great, just giving it rest, but now off to put on tongs....keeping the big toe and the other group separated. Back later...thanks. carolSuzanne <suziesgoats@...> wrote: Yes, and ok, just soak the foot in acv only, no water. I'm not sure that ginger will do what you are wanting.
