Kathy,

Here's some links I just pulled up. I can't answer powder or tincture, but maybe someone else can. I would think tincture dropped right to tongue or even powder are both powerful. Cost may be factor. How old is son with heart problem???????????

I would also like to try the cayenne on my son and see how it does with his heart defect but not sure if tincture or powder is better for that.

Kathy,

If you are looking for suggestions we offered regarding 'agorophobic" you may go to our group site at groups, then search for agoropho I would stop there cause the ending may be difference and up should come our recent topic suggestions. Is this helpful?

You have all been great and now I am wondering if maybe hubby wasn't looking in the right places for the things that were suggested ...that is why I will ask mom to look....and she has no hidden agenda.

I know I need some cayenne and celery seed but so many things have been said in bits and pieces that I forgot what else I was suggested. I tried to find the messages but I cannot.

We have 4 computers( hubby works with computers and people gave a couple of them to us for the kids because they would fight over them so much) and they are all networked so they cannot be too far apart (well they could but it would be more expensive) my computer and hubby's are in the diningroom....the little kids small computer is in the livingroom and the teens computer is down the basement.

I have to stay around or the kids get the yelling.....I make it turn around to me instead....or have to referee...besides...if he is mad enough he just follows me. I cannot be away....not even for a bath. the 2 youngest are usually in the tub with me as soon as I get washed.

like I said before....I need to find a way to get myself healthy so I can deal with life. I am so sore and tired all the time because of the health problems that I can't do anything constructive to fix things. That is the main reason I joined here but it doesn't help if I cannot get the items that everyone suggests...so I am going to try to go about it another way and see if my mom can look for me and find things that I can afford.

Kathy,

Do you alone use computer? If so, then your room, or find private place so you are not among the whole "tribe" but have some solo "play" time. If not, maybe they can still move it in a corner of the table or find another table to put it on away from the crowd.

Is the whole crowd verbally abusive??????????

carol........................curious carol.......may some role playing here with the group or me on how to speak up in a calm way, but for them to listen to your heart........Kathy L <angeldestiny@...> wrote:

Hi Carol,

No such place in this house...there are 6 of us (sometimes 7 when my son comes) and my computer is in the diningroom. I need to use my computer for my business...although I haven't had much energy to work much at it.

Hi Kathy,

Are you able to keep yourself in an area at home where you don't have to be subjected to the verbal abuse? I'm probably thinking a place where you can have privacy, come out for meals or cook, and then get yourself back into your own world--positive readings, tapes, music and get your "self" shaking it off.

Best to you of course. My prayers continue to be with you.

Karly,

Great testimony.

Hi Kathy,

Don't let others pull you down. Don't allow them to verbally beat you up. I assume you are talking about your living conditions--hubby/son. Do you have another avenue for living? Famly/friends. You are not alone. Have you tried calling any mental health agencies to meet with someone even though you are agorapobic.

I remember, if interested, not trying to be preachy of a woman who was bipolar, with other problems adopted the hallelujah diet and away her problems went. It does take time of course so Rome wasn't built in a day I'm trying to say. Ask Shari or myself about it as we are both health ministers. Whoever you choose to talk with, we are both health ministers for them. Just use one of us as it's our free time and we reap mainly satisfaction more than monetary values.

Feel well and I am here for you!

There is a DIAMOND inside you. Hang in--we all need each other.

Love,

carol

I really don't want to say this in an herbal list, but I am on meds that help me go out and get things done.

You are also a prime candidate for SSI...I am on it because these are deemed mental disorders. Please try to get a psychiatrist to talk to,you'll be evaluated (easy) and off you go! Within 2 month's I had my SSI.

Good luck, and write to me any time since we have a shared disorder lol.

I try to stay possitive but around here I am not allowed to (as you can see I'm having a bad day today) I tried to stand up for myself and promptly got knocked on my butt (verbaly) so I am having one of those days were I just want to give up because I am not strong enough to fight....The harder I fight the harder others fight....and they are much healthier and stronger in every way.

Kathy,

I can understand you missing your friend who died, but still you have to go on for your hubby and son. That was a few years AGO. Now you have Walkman to hear uplifting positive messages or praises. Eventually you are going to need batteries. Are you in USA? Can get rechargeable batteries as a heads up. Vision: isn't there something that speaks to you and you speak to it..voice activated?

I know you have legitimate concerns, but there is a time that you have to just stop, reflect and move and force yourself forward. My pastor would tell you to "get out of your diapers" or "stop wanting the "pastor feed me, feed me, feed me mentality" when it's up to us to change. You can do it. It's tough, but with this group, now that you are very transparent and some of us are not that way do you want to change? Are you comfortable living this way? Are you feeling like a victim or prisoner?

Please, I am not here to judge your decisions but help bump you up in your thinking. Do you listen to positive tapes? Do you speak to yourself with "I CAN DO IT?" Sometimes you may be only way to do that for you. Embrace self and even give yourself a hug.

Well, off to continue task at hand, but I'm here without judging you, but hoping we can see you move forward as a group. What a great testimony that would be. You do have a role in the plan to ACT if you want to see results--even if its baby steps. It's still steps towards going on.

Ultimatedly are you comfortable living this way? I don't need answer, but something to think about.

Hang in. You can do it!!!

Other than my hubby and kids, there is only my mom. I have read a few books on the subject but the problem is that my eyes have been acting up so that I cannot read with my glasses any more and reading without them causes my headaches to be worse and my eyes start to water really bad. I am able to read the computer because the print is larger and have started ordering books on tape though. ...need to find the time to listen to them now. Actually I couldn't find my walkman till last night so I am going to try to listen for a while after going to bed.

Guess I need a full body overhaul....just cannot afford it right now......lol.

I actually did have a counsellor who came out and it helped a lot. We became friends with him and his wife. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago and I am still having a problem dealing with that.

Kathy,

I understand you are bound to the house, but can someone have tapes/videos/books to borrow shipped or purchased for you? Perhaps a governmental agency helps with people such as you. Here, USA, I would start with Social Services--medicaid/medicare or such agencies. Perhaps library can send in materials for you to borrow and send back. Any friends near by? Family? For me that was the beginning of my spiritual journey when I found out I can't help myself so I found another route. I still struggle in my own walk, but got more peace then before.

I know.....I posted in another message. I cannot go out to get help because I am agorophobic and only go out to medical appointments but have to be sedated to go.

I have been trying to get help but they all want me to go there and I an unable to go out unless sedated, so that won't work. I meant professional help for the panic you experience when someone comes near your face.Gloria
