Usually about an hour after it is already up. We live in a little canyon with mountains on either side of the road. When I can't gaze at the sun in the AM I will do it when I can. Noon, early evening, mid-morning, early afternoon. Makes no difference when I gaze just so long as I gaze and don't overdo it. This is something that one needs to work up to. I do believe, from what I recall hearing, that Buddha gazed at the sun for 7 straight days before his ascension. However, it took him 14 years before he was able to do that. True or not I have no idea. Just what I heard. I do know that the sun is good in all ways but like anything, can be harmful if overdone unless one has properly prepared oneself through thoroughly cleansing ones body, living on only 100% raw living foods and making any other necessary mental/emotion changes that need boosting or gotten rid of.
