Guest guest
I may have the answer to the Mannatech burgers, etc. I think: it's like eat whatever you want and it all goes away with a pill or vitamin. Yes...unfortunately you can't always judge a product by looking at all of the people who represent it. When a company gets big enough I'm sure some of the people within it are an embarrassment to the company. I would hope that the people who are "higher up" and really take their health seriously would set a good example to potential customers. I used to know a lady who was the best macrobiotic cook in the world. People would flock to her dinners because they were just perfect and sooooo balanced and healthy. Meanwhile, I always used to wonder why she was ...to put it delicately...so FAT. Then one day someone told me they got totally disillusioned when they attended a party that she also attended and saw her gobbling down every rich sugary dessert in sight!! lol! Guest guest
I also know Mannatech products outrageosly expensive. They may be great, but if you can't afford such prices, then its not for you. It's not a choice I had to make and anticipate never having to make. These two last days have been an eye opener. I met one woman in her late 30's, another in her 40's and I look so much younger than either with tons more energy as well. Last night at a church banquet, everyone enjoyed the catered meat driven meal. I went for the salad. My husband brought his over and I noticed sprinkled. I said that's cheese--he said not. He had a little of their oil/vinegar dressing. I refused since I didn't have ingredients knowledge. I went to the kitchen and requested special salad and got spring greens. Not very easy to push down without any dressing and just lettuce. One plate later I was finished where in own home, one pound later finished. I gearing up for longetivy so my thoughts are I may have to be different, but I feel GREAT! No judgment, but rejoicing on my body behaving so well. carolgCarol Minnick <carolminnick@...> wrote: Ambrotose is only a very tiny part of the whole picture. It’s just “piecemeal nutrition”. Mannatech calls these sugars “essential”. But “essential” means that your body can’t make them and you have to get them from food. Just look at glucose ... the idea that we have to get glucose in our diet because we can't make it or can't make enough of it is ... well, not correct. It's the basic fuel for our cells -- blood
Guest guest
Amen to that Carol!..................... Ambrotose is only a very tiny part of the whole picture. Not to mention they are terribly over priced. I vote for eating whole, living foods. I spent 6 weeks with about 300 at a motivation program in San Diego. 200 of those people were mannatech folks. I have never met so many unhealthy, overweight, diabetic, sad, depressed people in one place. It was most difficult. There were 6 of us that were raw fooders. The mannatech folks just kept eating their hamburgers, ribs, steaks, and popping mega amounts of a miriad of pills. Why not just eat the fruits and vegetables? Guest guest
Shari, I must say I met one Mannaatech biggie who did look great last peek: Cheryl Townsley who wrote a few books too. She's local but never hear of her these days. I may have the answer to the Mannatech burgers, etc. I think: it's like eat whatever you want and it all goes away with a pill or vitamin. I have no temptation to animal products and it's firstly because I believe what the China Study tells me as well as Dr. Fuhrman: animal products cause about 90% of all physical diseases. I'm not going to chance anything and if I can do what I can do then I will continue making those choices. A customer had back surgery. It was pricey too and it's years later and he is still in pain as if no surgery existed. Ouch. I had not seen him or his g/friend in a year, but today did. I can surely can tell the toll their stresses and diet has done to my first impression today: tired, no energy, etc. carolg SV <shavig@...> wrote: Amen to that Carol!.....................
