Guest guest
Are you eating extra virgin coconut oil? It is an anti-fungal and helps with calories. Day 8 is still really early. Don't worry yet, die off can last for up to 2 months (although it should get better after it gets worse). Hang in there! Keen please help to answer these simple questions! I'm on day 8 and my energy has been REALLY low. My muscles are so weak I can't walk my dog or pick things up at times. I never had any of the die-off symptoms either. Anyway, the symptoms of being short of breath/asthma from candida (which I never had before), is getting worse. I'm just wondering if this is a dangerous sign, or a good one. I'm 22, and underweight now. I've been eating as much as I can, but probably getting less than 1,000 calories some days. Also, after the three weeks, what steps do you take next. I know I should gradually reintroduce foods but is it best to keep out certain foods forever? Thanks so much!
Guest guest
, energy levels can be increased by using undenatured whey. It produces glutathione, which is part of the energy cycle, and also the body's main detoxifier and antioxidant. Take it with selenium 200-600 mcg. Toxins and free radicals physically drain energy from the body as the body tries to dispose of them; by ensuring glutathione levels remain high, the toxins and free radicals are dispatched more easily. Asthma indicates a glutathione deficiency. About the underweight, udenatured whey, NOT carbs, is specifically indicated in the Physicians Desk Reference for Prescription Drugs as an anti-wasting (cachexia) tool. It creates mainly quality lean tissue and organs. One of those toxins, arsenic, occurs in drinking water; it directly affects energy production, depleting selenium and glutathione. You need more selenium to account for thye arsenic, and you need to know how much arsenic might be in your drinking water. Here's a primer with links into arsenic testing in your region: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/arsenic-in-drinking-water.html Also watch your oils intake; omega-6 oils can replace the beneficial omega-3's in the cell membranes, which compromizes cell function and cell energy. And, use inulin to control pathogen fluorish in the gut. Bad bowel bacteria, AKA dysbiosis, accounts for the majority of your toxin load in the body, and they will produce toxins 24/7 unless you control the issue by adding the MISSING amounts of inulin back into your diet. This amounts to about 12 grams in most people, perhaps a bit less if you use high-inulin foods. More is OK, too, and non-toxic even at 300 grams daily. Keep off the carbs forever; we have not evolved to assimilate a high- carb diet without disease. Duncan > > I'm on day 8 and my energy has been REALLY low. Guest guest
For over a week, when I started the diet, I had zero energy. I normally never nap, and I was taking three or four a day at one point. It did get better though. That kind of sealed in my mind that there really was a candida problem. I vowed that I would appreciate how hard it is to get through this, and remember so I will never have to do it again! I feel so much better now (already), and expect that it is all up hill from here I don't see eating sugar in my future... Not worth it! Hang in there. http://kelleygate.blogspot.com/ > I'm on day 8 and my energy has been REALLY low. My muscles are so weak I can't walk my > dog or pick things up at times.
