Guest guest
At least with no AC here I sure do get my water in. I must be drinking about 2 gallons a day. So something good out of it. Good Morning, Toni. No AC here either but I don't need it since the heat rarely if ever bothers me. Of course my house has lots of open air around it and tons of trees and all open windows with screens. I don't know how you survive in the city without it though. Good for you...drinking all that water! Oreo is so-so but at least still eating. The vet wants to operate next week and remove some of these bad teeth. Now, with the tumor in the jaw adding to the problem, I'm not sure I want to go through with the operation..teeth removal. It would help his bad gum problem but might aggrevate the tumor. (They are both on the same side of his mouth). I have to make a decision. Life sure throws us some interesting curve balls, doesn't it?? Gloria Anyway, how are you this morning? How is Oreo doing? Guest guest
Morning Gloria, Striving for geniusness eh? I heard blueberries are very good if one has the runs also. Healthier then immodium for sure. I really wish I liked fruit more. I ate a humungous (lol) carrot yesterday. I mean this was one huge carrot. I had to eat it with mustard though. At least with no AC here I sure do get my water in. I must be drinking about 2 gallons a day. So something good out of it. Anyway, how are you this morning? How is Oreo doing? Have a beautiful day! Tone I hadn't eaten blueberries all summer because I couldn't get organic at a reasonable price. There is a lady at the farmer's market who grows her own with nothing on them. She only shows up once in awhile (not every year) but this past Wed. she was there so I got some. So this summer I'll be smarter than I was last summer (when she didn't have a stand).Gloria

Guest guest
, Carrots are binding? I would think that the roughage would be quite the opposite. Actually I have read much in regards to cats to put carrots in their diet for the additional roughage. I am lactose intolerant so give me anything with that and my problem would be taken care of Be well and have a wonderful day Toni That is called the ABC and rice diet. Guest guest
All roughage adds bulk. Just make sure you eat the carrot and don't drink the juice. In juice form, all fruits act differently. Oh and the bananas have to be on the green side the more ripe they are the less binding they are. mTone <tone102@...> wrote: , Carrots are binding? Guest guest
Hi Kath, What do you have again that causes the diarreah? (I can never correctly spell that word). I used to be the opposite with never going which when one has that they wish for the other. My son has ulcerative colitis among other stomach aliments but of course my preaching falls on deaf ears and he must learn for himself. With him I need an additional bathroom between his going in there and my constant need to wee. Take care Kath Wishing you a wonderful day Tone I wish blueberries worked that way for me......but nothing does and I run constantly.....lol

Guest guest
Yup.....although some docs don't know about this problem and the first specialist didn't know about the medicine for it either. Thank goodness this last one did because it has been a life saver. Doesn't totally solve the problem but at least I have a bit more of a life. Kathy L.
