However, you are totally incapable of running down live game and killing it with your bare hands and I seriously doubt you could eat it raw by ripping it to pieces with those incisors. Carnivores have huge canines and their molars are also shaped for cutting not chewing as humans molars are. You, me and everyone else are frugivores. However, I shan't belabour this any longer as I agree with Kit we need to move it off list. We all get to choose how we wish to believe. If you wish to believe you are a carnivore that is you choice. If eating flesh makes you feel healthy than by all means go for it. However, evidence does not back up the omnivore/carnivore nor paleolithic diet. But there sure are a slew of folks out there who would love you to believe in it. We have no proof that these were hunting tools other than from our study of modern aboriginal peoples who may have evolved into using these tools for hunting over time as it became less nescessary to use them for protection. Then again, I suppose they could have totally another use having nothing to do with either. Now the study of fossilized feces.......we accept a lot on blind faith coming the scientific community. I guess we accept a lot on blind faith coming from everywhere don't we. LOL Personally, I take these studies with a grain of salt as they are usually funded by......and therefore the research is skewed for the reasons of..........(feel free to fill in the blanks with your own words). Yep, vested interests. Every university and college has vested interests. With the exception, maybe of the TCM and Ayurvedic schools and some herbal schools. -- Peace be with you, Kit. Guest guest
We never had to kill with bare hands I think you've hit on the crux of the discussion here. What did we eat before tools? Can't use the word "never" because man did exist before tools were invented. With tools came garbage because there were parts of our food we could not eat, ie bones, hair, etc... When man ate exclusively fruits, nuts, and green matter there was no garbage to leave behind. Until man started consuming animal products there was only poop and maybe human bones and the animals probably ate the bones too. After all we are raw when we die, at least for a little while. I have done my share of hunting and eating what I hunted. Can't say I used a throwing stick though. The throwing stick I used was made of lead and used powder to hurl it with. Nevertheless, I have been evolving since the 70's. Slowly in my own time. I have gone through many stages and changes. I have been the vegetarian, the vegan, the meat eater, the junk food eater, and now I am a raw food eater who is learing to eat it without all the prep work. I have no problem with posting the Natural Hygienist materials. There has been tons of research on this subject just like anything else, only difference is the Hygienist didn't get the funding and they did not and still do not need to kowtow to any benefactor. Knowledge is knowledge and you will find it everywhere. No one has all the knowledge nor does anyone have specific rights to claim. My position still stands though that there is no negative. There is only positive because no matter what decision or choice is made will eventually lead to a higher awareness and the making of much more positive choices. Breatharian eh? One of my goals as well. My only problem is I currently live in a narrow valley with high hills on each side, east and west. Therefore, I don't get the advantage of gazing at the sun in the first hour of sunrise nor the last hour of sunset. However, that doesn't stop me. The clouds and rain do though. :-) -- Peace be with you, Chris. Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
