I checked briefly a couple of years ago into the tetanus and the reason for it.

First have you checked his titers. If he had his DTP's

he probably is okay. Next if I remember correctly (ha!ha!) you need to mostly

be concerned about REALLY RUSTED METAL and in cow poop! and the wound needs to

be really deep. I realize that I have probably remembered something wrong! but

I guess the point is to read up on the shot- and the reason for giving it. I am

very relaxed with being out back and bare foot- more concerned about a bee

sting. Sorry I do not have time right now to check out my facts. Today simple

food for thought.

I just read a post from Lindy about her child regressing with the Tetanus

Shot.

I want to be prepared if Austin ever needs a tetanus shot -- and being the

active little boy that he is -- I have no doubt this will probably happen at

some point.

Are there any alternatives? Should I mostly be concerned about the shot

being thimersol free?

I was told by a pharmacist that if your child has any allergic reaction or a

suspected reaction to eggs that they should never get a tetanus shot. He said

the results could be severe neuro damage. Just thought I'd share this info.

The thimerasol will be removed from the tetanus shot in the year 2002. It is

anticipated to be JAN. It is not available thimerasol free at this time. I

personally called all the drug manufacturers as well as the CDC....Joni

Which pharmaceutical companies did you speak to? And who did you contact at the

CDC? It was my understanding that the next vaccine that the CDC would put

pressure on the pharm companies to make Hg free was going to be the Flu Shot.

Did any of the pharm companies you called also make DTaP? Did you encourage

them to manufacture Diptheria and Acell Pertussis in monovalent doses? SAFE

I am a member of Voices of Safety. www.voicesofsafety.com. I did speak to

the CDC and called all the Drug companies: Lederle, Connaught, Merk,

-Kline Beecham, Medeva, and wyeth-Ayerst. The Thimerasol will also be

removed from the Flu vaccination in Jan of 2002 along with the DTaP,DT,etc.

People should know that Pertussis vaccination is contra-indicated in

neurological disorders so only the DT shot should be given anyway. They

should consult their Neurologist if their pediatrician is not aware of this

and have their pediatricians educated.. People should also know that just

because they will be making it thimerasol free they will still be using up

their shelf of thimerasol containing vaccination. Know also that

wywth-ayerst uses formaldehyde in their flu vaccination. When I spoke to the

CDC and Drug Manufacturers the plan was that another perservative was going

to be used but they had not decided on the particular preservative. No

confirmation on totally perservative free upon special request was able to

be confirmed to me. I think you too will be happy with what our organization

is doing. Would be nice if we can join forces. This is an International

organization and Don works right up to the World health organization. We are

If your son had an adverse reaction to the DPT I wouldn't give ANY more

vaccines of any nature. You don't really know if it was the pertussis

portion of the vaccine that your son reacted to. Also, if he's allergic to

eggs of any sort tetanus vaccine can be lethal! My son also was given the

DPT and had an adverse response...the next shot was a DTAP, he then went

into convulsion and became autistic.Don't play russian roulette with your

I think you can test your son's vaccine titer. I did my boy's titer test.

His rubella titer is 111 which normal immunized range is 5-10. And his

diphetheral titer is 1.76 which reference should be less 0.1. These two

high data matches the shots I got three month before my pregancey( 2 MMR

and 3 DT). If your child react to DTP that much, that means he probably

had these antibody higher even before you gave him the shot. And my son's

titer test also showed he dosen't be immunized of polio. I think that is

wrong. He got four polio shots, how he is not immued. I read a paper which

said when kids get polio, DTP or several shots together, the vaccine will

work together, tetanus or diphetheral may even deactive polio. I should

dig this paper out.

Just be careful before you dump anything to the little body.

I think the tetanus by itself still contains thimerosal (contains mercury) so I

also believe get the titers. Further, if he is hurt in anyway then consider the

vac but otherwise, he should be okay I would think. If he had to go to the

emergency room for stitches or injury, etc they would give it to him. But

otherwise, I would avoid it at all costs.

Also, the single Tetanus shot HAS thimerosal in it, there is no alternative.

There is a new vaccine DPaT, I think it is called. My friends child had to

get it because he stepped on a nail. It was thimerisol free. Insist on

reading the ingredient insert because you can be told it contains no mercury

when infact it does!

had to take one of the boys (Isaac) to the ER for a gash in his leg.

Without educating my husband they just automatically gave my son a tetanus

shot. We have been religious exempted from vaccines for the past 5 years. I

was FURIOUS.

Now I am freaking out. I have worked so hard to keep the boys healthy, and

their immune systems were doing so much better, and now this.

I need some support and advice. I'm not thinking straight at all. I'm a

mess.

Karla, not been reading all of the list due to time pressures and therefore

do not know if you are chelating?? If you are on what protocol. the main

thing is that DMSA will pull the mercury from the bloodstream. The half

life of mercury in the blood is around 45 days so do not panic. You do want

to get rid of it, so if you are on DMSA continue. If you are on ALA, as well

stop the ALA. The ALA should not be used in the event of recent exposure.

If you are not yet chelating and want more advice please say. Hey thank god

he has an enlighteded parent lilke you who can sort it out. He is lucky!

Thanks. I " m so scared. I do have him on some antioxidants and vitamins, so

am hoping that is going to help.

I would also like to know if it is true that tetanus is only found in feces?

All the websites I read say it is in dirt. Which is true? I'm sure that

most of our dirt today has been in contact wit feces of some kind, but isn't

it true that tetanus can't live in the air? And that if a wound bleeds

really well, it's not likely to have tetanus in it?

I am also trying to remember the name of another vaccine list I was on about

a year ago, but they have moved and I can't find it now. If you know of

another list that might help me, I'd sure appreciate it. I need to know what

This list is for parents with metal poisoned, primarily mercury poisoned,

children. We are engaged in a treatment programme to remove the metals a

process which is called chelation. This word is from the Greek khele meaning

'claw' and involves giving a chemical substance which has a high affinity

with the metal or mercury for example. This binds (claws) the mercury in a

pincer grip and together they are excreted from the body. The process is

---I hope you are chelating...My son received a tetanus shot at age 3

after making progress and regaining speech from his 22 month

diagnosis...He spent the next several months wandering around making

repetitive howling sounds. He has not spoken since. He is 11.

I would dump as many anti-oxidants as reasonably sensible into

him, and watch him like a hawk for any adverse reactions.

I figured my son had received something like 7-8 tetanus shots by

the time he was 3 1/2...(tetanus shots are supposed to be good for 7

years???)...I would guess that your son's immune system is in much

better shape, this was before I started him on any supplements,

whatsoever, also if he has had no vaccines in 5 years, I would think

he would handle it better.

Karla,

What a nightmare for you. I am wondering if all tetanus shots

contain thimerisol. That is, are tetanus shots are still

manufactured with thimerisol or are they now supposed to be free of

this as are other children's vaccines? I'm sure others on this list

know. Either way, loading up on antioxidents sounds like a very good

idea.

Hi,

My daughters regular doctor in Pennsylvania and our DAN doctor in land...

Dr. Arnold Brenner refused to give them the Tetanus shot Booster due to the

extreme small amount Mercury in the shot. This in June 2002.

Is there an alternative to a tetanus shot? It seems like that would be a

terrible decision for a parent to make if the child stepped on a rusty nail

or was otherwise at risk without tetanus. It seems like this would be a

double whammy for kids who already have compromised immune systems.

Homeopathy offers alternatives for vaccines. I have family members

who have opted for that, rather than vaccines. Although, if I

remember correctly, one homeopath gave his children ONLY the tetanus

vaccine, no others.

There are also a lot of veterinarians who are now using homeopathy on

animals. When they get vaccines, they use certain remedies shortly

afterward to neutralize negative effects.

Hi,

I am a little behind here but have a question about this one. I also have a sinus infection which has lingered for months now. I did a course of anti-biotic's in like March which I thought got rid of it but after a couple of weeks I realized it was still there. I have the most disgusting smell in my nose. I tried to ignore it as I do alot, but it has continued to get worse. About a week ago I started back on my new batch of ST. which reduced the symptoms, now I read in Don's reply to eliminate vinegar. Can someone explain? I did miss a couple days of ST due to the holiday and can really feel/smell it again.

Hi ,

Interesting that you get a sinus infection whilst taking the very poison

that is supposed to kill the bacteria causing bacterial sinus

infections. Maybe you sinus infection was not bacterial, as the

Augmentin did not work.

It really sounds as though your body is trying to rid itself of toxins

and metabolic wastes. My suggestion would be to do another juice cleanse

or a fast for a week. I would also suggest that you consider going

strictly raw, eliminate all salt and vinegar from your diet and reduce

any fats (nuts, seeds, oils, avocados) to a bare minimum. Eat much more

sweet fruits and lots and lots of tender leafy greens. It is very

possible that your body is going through an extended healing crisis that

will only continue until you take the necessary steps to help your body

heal itself. You also might consider (if you use them) eliminating any

cosmetics and facial creams (they are all chemicals and very harsh on

the body). Get rid of the shampoos and conditioners too. Instead wash

your hair with lemon, the whole lemon blended up with a small amount of

distilled water and then filtererd through a cotton cloth or bag.. Works

very nicely and leaves the hair wonderful. The oils from the rind

condition the hair very well.

If you know anyone who is experienced in helping others through a fast

have them assist you either by phone or in person. Do an extended water

fast and allow your body to heal itself the way it was intended to heal

itself; naturally. Drink lots of distilled water.

One other thing, next time you step on a nail, soak your foot in a large

pot or tub of very, very hot water with about 10 - 15 black tea bags

added. Allow your foot to soak until the water is no longer hot. Works

like a charm everytime and no need for a toxin shot.

Hi Kathy,

I strongly caution anyone from ever taking pharmaceutical antibiotics in

any form. Since you made the choice to do so and since it did nothing

for your sinus infection tells me that your sinus infection was either

a) not bacterial caused or not an infection at all but your body's

attempt to cleanse itself.

Vinegar is toxic to the body. However, most of us have quite toxic

bodies anyway from our choice of diet and lifestyle. Taking the super

tonic may be much better for you health wise than not taking it. At

least until you reach a point in your evolution where you are eating

raw living foods and fasting to cleanse and heal your body instead of

relying on outside sources that will do little to nothing for you other

than to keep you amused while your body continues its fight trying to
