Duncan - why is chromium picolinate banned?

I guess there's a reason why this stuff is banned that we better know about -

especially as it has been cited on other message boards as being useful for

candida sufferers trying to stop sugar cravings.

People from Canada and other countries that have banned chromium

picolinate may like to know about chromium polynicotinate; the

nicotinate is almost like vitamin B.

Chromium picolinate has been banned in a few countries because of its

tendeny to cause the cancer precursor, DNA breakage, in vitro, and

some animal studies showed it can cause cancer.
