Guest guest
Hi, The peripheral vision sounds scary. Maybe you should talk to a dr. about that. Joint pain is normal. Keep taking the cat's claw but you'll have to stop taking the BC pills if you want to cure your candida! It ususally is one of the causes of candida (just as is antibiotics, etc). Hi There! I'm new to this... Also, I'm planning on starting the Three-lac supplement. Does anyone know if a) I should stop taking the Cat's CLaw I'm on now and will the three-lac have any bad interactions with the mainstream meds I'm taking: Birth control, zoloft, and zyrtec. Are there any great websites or books I should read? Thanks!!! ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Dear AB Young, I happen to be familiar with your vision problem (assuming that it's what I've had in the past, and it sounds like it). I don't think it has anything to do with candida (perhaps " peripherally " -- ha ha). Anyway, what I've had is flashing lights around the periphery of my eyes. Eye doctors call it " flashers. " It can be a symptom of a detached retina, so you should probably see your eye doctor. However, lots of people get this with no detached retina. I was finally told (after some tests) that it's optical migraines. I don't normally get migraines but sometimes after an episode of flashers I have a slight headache. I get these flashers a couple of times a year. Hope this helps. > > Hi Everybody. I've recently started the Candida Diet (or what I think > I should be doing) and I'm having some new symptoms. Guest guest
Thanks so much, . It's nice to hear someone else has experienced this. I saw my doctor this week and she thought it is probably related to my diet changes and was a migraine of sorts. Apparently vision problems are very common in women with headaches. I appreciate your response and good luck on your health quest! > > > > Hi Everybody. I've recently started the Candida Diet (or what I think > > I should be doing) and I'm having some new symptoms. Guest guest
Thanks, . I did go see my doctor and she told me it was probably related to my new diet and was a sort of migraine. Unfortunately, she doesn't know much about candidiasis. And I know about the birth control. I'm working up the nerve to go off it. Thanks, Abbey
Guest guest
Good luck, Abbey. The BC pill is a biggie. I ended up getting an IUD instead which I think made my candida worse, so eventually my husband gave in and got a vasectomy, so no more babies for me It's too bad your dr. isn't more informed about candidiasis. Mine is the same way. I thought I found the perfect ND but after my initial test for candida came back negative I feel that she isn't looking into the symptoms as much as relying on the standard testing, so I think I'll need to find another dr. She also prescribed probiotics with FOS in them and I found the online website for that exact brand that said DO NOT take that kind IF you have candida! It said start with another form for the first 20 days then use the ones with FOS in them. (what would we do w/out the internet?) Re: Hi There! I'm new to this... Thanks, .
