Guest guest
I agree that the food sensitivities tests are overrated. I had one done and peanuts, eggs, and many dairy products were relatively low on my sensitivity scale, and since I know I react to them I asked my adviser why they were not in the red and the answer was " this test is for sensitivity, not intolerance. " Okay, so what did I just pay 500 bucks for again? The whey thing was on my own experience, and yes, tolerance is built up after a certain problem causing agent is taken repeatedly for long periods of time. That is why I did not experience back pain for most of the time I was taking whey, which was 30-60g almost everyday for about 2 years. It was only when I stopped for 2 weeks and started again that the severe back aches came. Although there was not severe pain over the course of taking whey everyday, there was increased inflammation throughout my body, which has somewhat eased since I quit. With or without the whey, I don't seem to make any significant progress though:( greg > > > > > > I press my clients to continue with the whey because > sensitivities > > or > > > not it does produce the body's master antioxidant and detoxifier, > > > which can help them like no other supplement. Guest guest
My understanding is that allergy tests show what you react to in your skin, which is not the same thing as in your digestive system. Guest guest
I think an allergy would cause an immediate reaction while an insensitivity would be food that interrupts your digestive system. Guest guest
I have a delayed food sensitivity to whey therefore I am not using whey for now. This is a digestive intolerance. On the subject of the gas, do you think it can put pressure on nerves and end up causing nerve pain in your arm for example? Guest guest
so how do I get rid of all this blosting?!?! greg > > That sounds very unreasonable to me, as does the theory that lower > > back pain is caused by the kidneys " growing and improving. Guest guest
Well, I know gb problems cause knee and shoulder problems, both of which I have, along with wrist problems. I would guess it is possible digestion has meridians running all throughout the body. greg > > I have a delayed food sensitivity to whey therefore I am not using > whey for now.
