Guest guest
I am tempted to grow own from seed. May be too late but the "seed" in my mind has not disappeared yet. Does it grow fast? How are you using it? Tea? Drying, etc? I would love all the info. you have hidden about nettle as I heard it very good for your hair growth stimulation too. My friend said people wack the "spines" into their scalp. Who knows, but a curious person here interested in nettle talk. (OT: if you remember my achy bunion, no pain since I adopted the tongs with the big toe and other 4 separated. Maybe something to this theory! Of course not thinking winter yet, but waiting patiently for spring to roll in like thunder!) carolSuzanne <suziesgoats@...> wrote: The Herb Garden Time has come to think about planting an herb garden or adding to an existing one. Guest guest
I've not tried Nettle.. I have echinacea, feverfew, lemon balm, choc/apple/pepper mints, oregano, thyme, sage, hyssop, wormword, evening primrose, goldenseal, catnip, st. johns wort, arnica, violets, horehound, rosemary, yarrow, comfrey, and oregon holly, (i think that is all ) Had basil last year...and parsley... neither came up this year... Some are growing better than others.. Some I have to start over when they don't survive my winters... Did have some mullein till the goats ate it.. and most of my St. 's bush.... they got out and headed for the herbs... hopefully the St. 's will pull out.. but no flowers this year..As for nettles, I usually order it and tincture it.
