As with my last post....we ARE humans and the inherent definition of a human is the ability to use tools. Medicine is merely a tool, preferably we'll all choose good medicine over bad medicine. Anytime, someone does or takes someting in order to heal it is medicine. Fasting is medicine, cleansing is medicine, detoxing is medicine and taking a particular food to acheive a certain goal is food as medicine. May we all acheive optimum health by whatever tools we choose. Kit ===================================== Correction Kit, You are confusing fasting with modern medical thinking. Anytime you take something other than food or water to attempt to affect a cure you are taking medicine. Doing something in order to heal is not necessarily medicine. Number one medicine never heals. Never has and probably never will as it goes against the laws of nature. Fasting is not taking something nor is it doing something. It is the opposite. You do nothing and take nothing in order to heal. Hence by your definition above it cannot be medicine nor will it ever be. At any rate Kit, I agree with you. May our choices, be as optimum as possible for our best health. Also I would like to thank you Kit for your wonderful and though provoking discussions here. Welcome to the job of moderator Kit. May you truly enjoy it. -- Peace be with you, Kit. Don "Quai" Eitner "Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man."
