Guest guest
I would like to ask again if somebody have such symptom as bruise in the lining esophagus? I tear down my esophagus all the time after eating had food. I don`t know if it is because of esophagitis or from candida bruises. It is dangerous bc it can cause holes in esohagus and blood infection.
Guest guest
, excessive bruising is often seen in the elderly who have lost tissue elasticity due to prolonged low secretion of HGH. A highly visible clue that low HGH is probably the cause is the skin on the backs of the hands becoming thin and transparent too, as skin thickness also requires adequate HGH release. HGH secretion can be reduced by stressors and a high-carb diet even in people who are not elderly as such (they have similar induced conditions by a different mechanism). Guest guest
No, I am not elder person, I am only 51 but candida make skin very weak and you can bruise it very easy. I have also black spots on my hips which stay there almost a year. But my beggest problem is bruising of esophagus by food.Probably i have candida esophagitis or severe imflamation that cause it.Sometimes I don`t feel acid reflux at all but it is happen silently. I know that candida can cause reflux but it seems it is not common. I wonder how many people have reflux in this group? > > > > I would like to ask again if somebody have such symptom as bruise in > > the lining esophagus? > > I tear down my esophagus all the time after eating had food. Guest guest
I have reflux, but don't believe I have a candida overgrowth any longer, certainly no hint of it as long as I keep my diet low carb. FWIW, my reflux is from low stomach acid. sol imsinfo wrote: > I know that candida can cause reflux but it seems it is not common. > I wonder how many people have reflux in this group? > >
Guest guest
Hi , although your question is a bit of date, I will answer it now, because I have just suffered from a short episode of candida-induced esophagitis. Contrary to your belief, it IS quite common, although often misdiagnosed as Œtoo much acid¹ or Œnot enough stomach acid¹. Even doctors who normally dismiss all accounts of candidiasis as being a Œmyth¹ or Œnot proven¹ are willing to admit that esophagitis can often be caused by candida. Very simply. because they can SEE it, when they insert their endoscope. It looks like white patches, surrounded by inflammed, red tissue, just like thrush in the mouth. One author even maintained, it was the most common form of candida infection erh, we know better, don¹t we ? What actually happens when you suffer from reflux, is that the muscle between stomach and esophagus does not close properly. Normally, the stomach which is protected against acid by mucosa, is closed off against the throat, which is not protected, by a muscle. This is to prevent stomach acid from leaking out and injuring the surface of the esophagus. If this muscle does not work properly, stomach acid leaks out and burns the inside of the esophagus. This is more pronounced after eating, because eating increases the amount of stomach acid produced, or when lying down, because then the acid can flow into the throat. So, in this case, the cause for the pain is not too much or too little stomach acid, but the fact that the acid gets where it is not supposed to. The reasons for this can be mechanical injuries, certain medications, tumors, or infections with bacteria or candida. Standard medications against too much acid might still relieve the pain, because they simply neutralize the acid. So does soda powder (sodim bicarbonate). But this only treats the symptom, not the cause ! But because acid blockers do help, many people then conclude it must be too much acid that is causing their problems. If pain persists, then it might be caused by the thrush itself: if you have ever had thrush in your mouth, you know that it hurts like hell, and one can easily imagine how much it must hurt in the esophagus. This condition should be treated as quickly as possible, because if the inflamation persists, it can progress from topical to deeply rooted inside the tissue, and then lesions can become irreparable. I myself used to suffer from esophagitis for years, with incredible pain, burping, nausea, etc. and swallowed acid blockers like crazy. Sometimes they helped, very often they did not, and I spent hours and days cringing with pain. It¹s only now in the wake of my anti-candida treatment, that it has occured to me that this must have been caused by candida. So what I did yesterday was taking anti-fungals that cover the surface of the esophagus. My normal nystatin pills are useless, because they are covered with wax to protect them against stomach acid, and they are supposed to dissolve in the intestines. Instead, yesterday I drank 1 litre of coconut milk very slowly, in little sips throughout the day, let virgin coconut oil slowly melt in my mouth (it eventually gets swallowed and slowly runs down the esophagus), had lapacho tea (again drinking slowly), lied down after drinking to disseminate it - and in the evening my pain was gone !! When I think back, how my pain used to go on and on for weeks, then this is like a small miracle esophagitis cured within a few hours ! I hope this helps, get well, P.S.: if your esophagus is very irritated due to years of inflammation, you should only swallow little chunks of soft food to avoid mechanical injuries. When I’ve drank too much beer during the weekend they appear on a Monday but I’ve had them with my candida symptoms before, at the moment I’m sitting with ears that continuasley before I thought it was because I was using the phone everyday, and please could someone please explain the “die-off” symptoms in plain English I seem not to understand the mails regarding them, are they symptoms that are there today & gone tomorrow or………. Guest guest
Thank you for advice,. It looks as miracle that you was healed for one day. Probably you really had esophagitis fron Candida only. I think I can have both scars from reflux or imflammation and candida esophagitis. When I had endoscopy 3 yeasrs ago I already had mild imflammation there, no can dida but h Pylori. I had treatment for that with double antibitic treatment with PPI for 10 days only. It caused candida together with antacids. I had thrush after that but it was gone with Duflican treatment. Candida was back shortly but not thrush and I thought I don`t have it in esophagus too. Did you had thrush? Are you going to continue with treatment of esophagus? I avoided coconut bc it is in my list of food intolerances tohether with oregano and some other antifungals. Pau`d Arco tea cause pain in esophagus as well as other acidic supplements like Caprilic, Garlic, etc. I can take Sodium Bicard only. Yesterday I have tried coconut oil a little bit and it seems it is OK for now. In the past I was badly belching and had turmoils in the stomach from it. Probably I can take it more soon. Coconut milk supposed to be with sugar but I can drink cocunat water or juice bc it can reduce acidity too. I can`t lay down during the day but I did it early morning when my stomach was totally empty.I sit up all nights bc when I lean on pillow too much I get pain in esophagus at once. I have heart about H pylori that it make LES or valve in esophagus weak but I didn`t think candida can do that too. I have red it can be weak for many reasons including low and high acidity. I am sure my acidity is a little high but I also have small Hiatal Hernia which make it worse. Bloating and belching can cause reflux to me too. > > Hi , > > although your question is a bit of date, I will answer it now, because I > have just suffered from a short episode of candida-induced esophagitis. > > Contrary to your belief, it IS quite common, although often misdiagnosed as > Œtoo much acid¹ or Œnot enough stomach acid¹. > > Even doctors who normally dismiss all accounts of candidiasis as being a > Œmyth¹ or Œnot proven¹ are willing to admit that esophagitis can often be > caused by candida. Guest guest
Hi , To answer your questions: - Do you mean thrush in the mouth ? Yes, I have had that for years, white patches on the inside of the cheeks, surrounded by painful red inflammation. It seems quite logical that the microbe / fungus causing this can easily travel down the throat with the saliva or the food you swallow. If your immune system is weak, or a certain area of the body has already been damaged, eg. by helicobacter pylori, then it can settle there. - Coconut milk does contain some natural starch from the coconut flesh it is made of (only 2.5%), but so does coconut water. Coconut milk does contain at least a portion of lauric and caprylic acid (12%), which kills bacteria and fungus, but coconut water does not contain any of that, because it is not fatty. So if coconut water helps you in some other respects, it is ok, but it will not help against candida. To kill candia, virgin coconut oil is the better than milk. Some people just cannot take large quantities of it. - no, I am not continuing with treatment of esophagitis, because I don¹t have any problems any more. What happened recently, was just a relapse of an old symptom, which was gone on the second day with the help of antifungals. About your ongoing problems: I am not a doctor, and I am not very experienced with reflux / heartburn. I just had it for a couple of years, and did not know what to do about it a test for H pylori was negative, and I did not know about candida by then. It seems that you have an ongoing inflammation, even 3 years after your treatment. If it is in the esophagus only, it can be caused by the stomach acid that irritates the throat. Here is what I have found at Wikipedia about hernia. Have you already considered an operation ? * Where hernia symptoms are severe and chronic acid reflux is involved, surgery is sometimes recommended, as chronic reflux can severely injure the esophagus and even lead to esophageal cancer. * But if you have pain in the stomach, too, then there must be an inflammation, and this in turn must be caused by something. Normally, the antibiotics treatment against H pylori is quity successful, and relapses are rare. If it happens, it could be because the microbe was resistant against one of the antibiotics used. From next year on, there also should be a vaccine available to help the body to eradicate the bacteria. I would try to get some tests to find out, whether the H pylori has come back, or it is candida, or both, or another microbe or fungus that is causing your problems. However, there are not many microbes that can survive the stomach acidity. If it is H pylori only, you might try an alternative treatment with honey. A Russian study (which I cannot find anymore) found out that honey taken 3 times daily on an empty stomach is very successful in eradicating H pylori. Australian doctors swear on Manuka honey as the best remedy. Here are some articles: http://www.yourhealthbase.com/ulcer_drugs.htm http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1841451 http://www.wddty.com/03363800371813904697/a-spoonful-of-honey-for-h-pylori.h tml http://www.springerlink.com/content/u54805508qw66044/ (this latter article holds the notion, that sugar has the same effect in vitro as honey) HOWEVER, if you have candida in your throat and stomach, honey can be detrimental because it helps it grow. In that case, I would treat candida first, by ingesting antifungals that cover throat and stomach, eg. Nystatin powder virgin coconut oil propolis tincture olive oil or olive leaf extract grapefruit seed extract etc. Plus, I would ingest stuff that helps the healing of the tissue, for example camomille tea aloe vera L-glutamine http://www.healthy.net/scr/article.asp?Id=2844 http://www.diagnose-me.com/treat/T73676.html If any of the above triggers a painful response, don¹t drop it immediately. Try to dilute it, take lesser quantities, slowly increasing when you can tolerate it. For how long have you had that condition ? If it goes on for long, it can develop into ulcers and cancer. It is important that you try everything possible to heal your digestive system ! It is the source of life and energy for every living being ! (my grandfather died of stomach cancer, both my uncle and my aunt have had ulcers, too. I wish I had had my knowledge 20 years ago maybe I could have helped them) good healing, Am 24.01.2009 20:07 Uhr schrieb " imsinfo " unter <imsinfo@...>: > > > > Thank you for advice,. > It looks as miracle that you was healed for one day. Guest guest
, again thanks for such full response about your research. I just received the second test result with negative yeast and H Pylori infection. It was new test called GI Function and it is more accurate according to doc. There are only parasite was found but not human probably from food and treatment is not needed unless I have problem. Sure I have and last week was very hard because reflux went wild. I was weaking up every 2 hours at night from pain and no medicine or antacids helped for a long time. I had to start eating sweets and nut butter to cover esophagus and protect it from acid. I am able to sleep better now. I know I will pay for that with yeast overgrow but I would prefer Candida than such sharp pain from reflux. I think I still have Candida bc I have many symptoms yet. I will see doc next week to get explanation of results. I have tried Coconut oil treatment but I can`t say that it helped for now. First day I lay down flat and I got pain in esophagus. Next time I did it sitting up. I am afraid to do more bc coconut has acids and it can irritate lining now. Probably will try later when it will heal bc I have open scars now. I am on liquid diet like soup and blended ingredients. My best, > > Hi , > > > To answer your questions: > > > - Do you mean thrush in the mouth ?
