Guest guest
Man that had to be painful. But, I'm not surprized at how powerful raw garlic is. I tried it once with one clove juiced along with 16oz of carrot and beet juice and it still made me sick. I love garlic and believe it is great for healing many things, but can't take it raw very well. sol <solbun@...> wrote: , I'm not Tony and haven't ingested raw garlic cloves, I'm not surprised you have a problem with raw garlic. I did once tape a slice of raw garlic to an extremely itchy scaly spot on my tummy that I thought was possibly a fungus like ringworm or something. I left the garlic on way too long and it ate a rather large hole in my skin. Turns out it wasn't a fungus anyway, but was most likely nummular eczema. http://www.aocd.org/skin/dermatologic_diseases/nummular_eczema.html Years later I still have the scar from the garlic, btw. sol --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
To and Sol. I hear what you guys are saying about garlic not being for everyone, which works the same way as any of the supplement that are mentioned here. Some people can tolerate them and some can't. In my journey to find healing for me body I have tried many different supplements. Some mentioned here and some that have not been. That's not to mention the many different medical specialist and doctors I have visited. I can related with many here that fighting this condition is not cheap! Having your lips, tongue and lungs burning every waking day and not being able to sit down and enjoy a family meal can really get you down. That's why I chew the garlic and also take the oregano oil, at least it give me some temporary relief and I can honestly say that it is killing some of the fungus in my mouth as the while film on my lips is not as visible. Being part of this group has really help me to carry on with trying to find my healing as I know that I am not along in fighting this condition. I realized that some have suffered longer and probably have a worst condition than I what I suffer with. To them I say hang in there. There is the right supplement that will work for you and me. We just have to keep on researching and learning more every day. Because of all the wonderful people that have share in this group including Duncan, the moderator and countess others, I can say that I am better off than I was before I found this group. Guest guest
Hi Tony, I'm glad to know that the garlic and oregeno is helping you. That is the truth, some people can handle one supplement and others not. I didn't understand that all the burning predated your use of the garlic. I hope that it does continue to help. Have you gotten a thorough diagnosis of ujst what is going on? If it is fungal in nature would something like ozone therapy or a rife machine be helpful? I do wish you well and sympathise with your situation very much. I've been a little more under the weather myself lately and have barely had enough energy to reply to a host of important emails.
