Hello Everyone,

Hope this finds you all well and your Saturday was an enjoyable one. As I previously mentioned, I have two outdoor cats. Peep is 7 years old. He has suddenly developed terrible matting and he will not let me brush him at all. I am concerned that this is medical rather then a grooming issue.I wanted to know what herbs I could give to him even on a daily basis for his health. I feed him partially raw and he gets a little digestive enzyme and a tinge of preventative C daily. He had this before and I cannot for the life of me remember what rectified it. I was putting alittle organic flax oil in his food but ran out. Maybe that was the stuff that helped?

He is my love and I hate to see him uncomfortable.

I hope it is okay to ask something about cats here.

Thankyou all so much....as always

Blessings,

Toni

Toni,

Animals are welcome... Got any olive oil.. you could put a bit in.. I don't really know about the matting unless it is due to burs, etc... if you don't get an answer - check a cat group...

Hi Suzi,

Thankyou. I am putting olive oil and I got some flax meal though not sure if that is any good or not. I have been trying to get onto the computer for the past 11.5 hours. I am so stressed I feel like I am having a stroke. 85K files gone and finally on here starting from scratch again. Breaks my heart...lol

oh well. Anyway, I am researching herbs and cats. Read that dried nettles is very good as a mineral supplement. Was it that gave the cat slippery elm for the runs? Read it is good for their constipation. Guess just like humans things work differently for each other. I appreciate the help. I will let you know what happens.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day

Blessings,

Toni

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.
