One should never eat raw food cold as the body has to work harder in trying to warm it up for proper digestion and eating hot food excessively irritates the mucosal lining of the esophagus and stomach. Warm is alright as long as it is not any more warm than body temp. Just my thougts and those of many raw foodists and natural hygienists. -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Not eating cold foods is such a big deal in TCM. Also, drinking cold drinks. Kit > > How raw works > > By Chloe > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hey Don, Well, if we only agree 20% on fasting ....we agree 100% on food temp.!!! I couldn't have said it better. I'd allow for 1 or 2 degrees above body temp....no more, tho. ;-) Kit > > > > > Suzi, > > > > I'm curious as to how often people eat the raw food warmed or at room > > temp.
