Guest guest
It's too often confused with need. One doesn't REALLY "LOVE" another person but NEEDS them to complete one's own perception of life and one's self in it. This is so true. The word Love is so misunderstood in our culture. Many people say they love others and go out of their way to help them, when actually it isn't love at all. It's neediness and they get their sense of self-esteem from sacrificing for others rather than getting it internally. The trouble is these people need to surround themselves with helpless people because without someone to take care of they feel like nothing. This is so common and is an aberration of what love really is. Gloria
