Guest guest
That regimen would certainly give *me* detox headaches. Lately I've had great success nipping detox headaches in the bud by alkalizing, such as by eating cucumbers and avocado and avoiding acidifying food. There's a lot on the Internet on this subject. bluebonnet --- - Could these be detox headaches? What can you do for them? Thank you! Guest guest
Tina, the online list of acid-alkaline foods that I checked said lime is alkalizing (lists sometimes differ). But I understand toxins are usually acidifying, which is why detox can cause acidity and headaches. bluebonnet -- " Tina Chapek " <teenee65@...> wrote: Thanks! Does citrus alkalize? Guest guest
Tina, it's the citrus pulp and rind that produces alkalinization. The juice does not contain enough alkaline ash to do much. What can you do for them? > > Thank you! > > Tina > Tina, The book titled 7-Day Detox Miracle suggests Activated Charcoal capsules to remove toxins created during detox process. (Two capsules half hour before meals or 1.5 hours after meal). Here is an extract from the book: Charcoal In the intestines, toxins processed in the liver and excreted in the bile fluid mix with bacteria. Some of these bacteria produce an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase, which releases the toxins from the bile, allowing them to be reabsorbed and circulated through the body again. However, once bile is bound with charcoal, the toxins it carries can't be detached, even when washed with blood plasma or gastric fluids. Charcoal acts like a sponge, and it has a tremendous absorptive capacity relative to its size. For example, 1 quart of pulverized charcoal can absorb 80 quarts of ammonia. Activated charcoal can absorb bacteria, viruses, bacterial toxins, and even hormones. It has been used for Asiatic cholera, dysentery, diarrhea, and dyspepsia. Charcoal is especially useful in conditions of harmful bacteria in the intestines. Even patients with liver failure can benefit from large doses of charcoal because it effectively prevents the buildup of toxins in the blood. Charcoal's ability to act as an antidote to poison has been known for more than a hundred years, and it's still used in hospitals today as the treatment of choice for certain types of poisoning. Charcoal holds on to toxins more effectively than any other substance. It's safe, effective, and inexpensive. Wood charcoal, the only type that's recommended, is available as a Supplement in capsule form. The recommended dosage of charcoal is 2 capsules per meal, or up to 2 teaspoons in powdered form. For best results, take it on an empty stomach. Suren

Guest guest
Does anyone know what the MT 100 mg is. I would like to get my husband on a liver detoxification program. He quit drinking a year ago and I know he taxed his liver out for 20+ years. I was also wondering if this protocol would be good for him. I could never get him to do the Liver Flush. I know I can get him to take capsules. Thank you for any help you can give me, Terry ________________________________ From: candidiasis [mailto:candidiasis ] On Behalf Of Palmer, Terry {PBSG} Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2008 2:28 PM candidiasis Subject: RE: Cause of headaches What is 100 mg MT?
