Guest guest
Dear Ethel, Thanks for your response to my letter to . God has done so much for me. We have had miracle after miracle-but that's another story. I gather that people in this group have had a lot of help from Coat's Aloe Vera. I am in Australia and am finding it hard to get. I rang a guy from " Forever Living " and he claims that they own the Coats patent and 90% of the world's crop. He claims they have the best product in the world and that most others are rubbish. It is $33 per litre. (australian dollars) So that would probably be over $66 U.S. That seems to be an awful lot, though might be shipping costs etc. We are on pensions, but if it has great benefit we will try it. I would like to know how important you think it is, what dose might help malapsorbtion and Irritable Bowel, and is it something that you take forever? Any help would be appreciated. rheumatic re: disconnected > > > > > I don't want to go into all the details on the internet. > > > I am all alone in the world. Guest guest
Dear Rosemary, Do you have IBS? If you do, the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (There are sites with recipes and information on the net at: http://www.inform.dk/djembe/scd/ http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~design.machine-tanya/irritable.bowel/home.htm Also, has a site with links to books. One book you should get is by Elaine Gottschall and is called Breaking the Vicious Cycle: Intestinal Health Through Diet. If you read the many customer reviews at www.amazon.com you will see that it is am almost instant cure for IBS and, so, is worth trying. And it is free, except for the price of the book. Cheaters lose the benefits on this diet, however, so you must cooperate fully. Good luck, Gloria
Guest guest
Just as a word of warning...Unfortunatley Coats uses sodium benzoate, so anyone like me that is allergic to that preservative might want to know this. N
Guest guest
Coats is generally recognized as a good brand. You might do a search. There should be an e-mail contact to see if it is available in Australia. bg > Dear Gang, > I know some of you take Aloe Vera Juice to help with leaky gut, IBS. I have some questions. > 1. Which is better, the whole leaf juice or just the gel? > 2. What are some good brands? > 3. Are any of these available in Australia and where? > 4. What dose do you take? > 5. How long was it before you noticed any improvement in leaky gut symptoms? > 6. Has anyone tried growing the plants and using the gel internally? If so, how much do you use and would you mix it with fruit juice? > Any advice appreciated. > Warm regards, > Rosemary.
Guest guest
Thanks Don and Joy for your suggestions! I tried the gel alone and its not bad. Will try Joys suggestion next--when I get brave:))))). As for buying the juice as some have suggested, it may be good for some things but it is pasturized and thus enzymes are missing and other values have changed. The good properties are short lived in the plant-- once removed so must be consumed shortly to receive all the value. Joanne L.
