It's ugly...had it forever this way. Imagine one tiny nail split in let's say one part of the nail, about 1/3 of it slit lenghtwise, and the other 2/3 slit lengthwise. So it appears as if two nails are on one tiny nail. I bumped it a few times recently, causing the split even more to the point that it now a definate two nails and the smaller nail is taking a beating by me being clumpsy. Is there such a thing as elephone nails; if so, I must have that problem. When I started clipping it on my own tonight, I was rolling in laughter, entertaining myself as my husband walked in ready for bed. He couldn't and wouldn't understand why I was roaring away, and it let it complete its laughter cycle.

Earlier this evening I asked hubby if he would like to save $100, thinking I would end up eventually at foot doctor for some work, he replied yes, and cutting the nail was the gimmick. Well, he forgot his bargain and he's off in bed as I sit at the computer. My daughter told me I have the ugliest feet she has ever seen so we were going for a pedicure. No I have not been pampering my feet like my face which I oil up. Right now now would love help with the split toe nai remedy. I think I have to get that sliver of a nail, the 1/3 part cut out. Quite a sight!!!!!!!!!!

Help please...thanks...off to bed to forget about it for a few hours.

is it just one nail? how are your other nails? have you tried black walnut tincture on it if it is the only one with any sort of problem? otherwise I would suggest calcium.
