Guest guest
Yup, that's what you do! Many rawfood enthusiasts just pick up a head of lettuces or whatever veggie and eat it! You could concoct a dip if you need to. No heated oils w/ gall bladder problems. Sue suspiciously eyeing vegetables. I need to figure out what to do with them. I mean, you don't just pick up a head of lettuce and start chewing! -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. It has removed 43 spam emails to date. Guest guest
Shari, The information I found was at http://www.chem-tox.com/gallstones/ I don't know how scientific or reliable their information is, but it made sense to me. I was doing an internet search for " gallstone diet " so I could find the specific foods I should be eating. I don't know if their recommedation for whole grains means that if you must consume grains, use whole grains, or if it means they are specifically beneficial. This may be one of those things where different people report different things and you have to find out what works for the individual. So far, I've been okay with the grains. I'm much more concerned about dairy and sugar. > - progress, not perfection. You're doing great cutting out all those nasty things. > > Interesting that grains would be good for gall bladder. I'll dig up Doug Graham's book " Grain Damage " and see if it says anything about grains and gall bladder. > > Shari
Guest guest
Yup, ...focusing on the positive will get you there much happier...goes to follow. You've got a good attitude from within to start with. Seeking out alternatives, and support showed us that right off...you were mostly 'there'. You may be right about the size .... but...in TCM the GB is a curious organ...a Yang organ with a Yin function... UH? ..meaning it stores a pure substance (also does not receive food and water like other Yang organs and does not communicate with the exterior) Pretty important, yup. Other TCM GB views: " Gall Bladder Controls Judgment 1. (Liver controls planning), Gall Bladder controls ability to make decisions. These two functions are interdependent. 2. Gall Bladder gives a person courage and initiative, i.e., courage to make decisions, act, make changes: positive and decisive action. Deficient Gall Bladder can result in indecision, timidity and easily becoming discouraged. Controls the Sinews (Tendons), With the Liver Wood element (Gall Bladder and Liver) control sinews. Liver nourishes tendons with Blood, Gall Bladder provides Qi to ensure correct movement and flexibility of tendons. " http://www.internalhealers.com/theory/zangfu/gallbladder.cfm Get well soon!
