Dee, Mercola relied on the misguided Healing Crow site as if the site

gave facts even though it doesn't; it relies on suspicion and

innuendo as its main tools for healing ;)

The real facts go like this: in a pure culture, the FOS and sugar in

native inulin can feed bad bacteria; in the reality of the bowel the

probiotics eating the inulin itself curb the bad growth. Further,

long chain inulin with the FOS and sugars removed do not feed bad

bacteria or candida.

These facts, right from the research, are published with references

So, we add back in the inulin that is missing from our daily diet,

the same inulin the ancient Greek and Chinese doctors used to stop

bowel disturbance. Nothing could be more normal.
