Guest guest
I've had that surgery on both knees but for something other than a tear. I now know I could have fixed the problem I had with working on other areas like my hips and quadriceps muscles etc. My knees still bother me now and from what I've heard I am more likely to have arthritis in my knees later on, but I do not know for sure. It is possible to have knots in other muscles which cause pain in your knees, but like I said I did not have a tear. Good luck. > > I'm scheduled for a knee arthroscopy for a meniscal tear. Guest guest
I go to physical therapy for my back, and have been there at the same time as a woman I used to know way back. She was having therapy post surgery for a meniscal tear--her second surgery. She said she was in as much pain as before, and she told me bitterly that surgery is NOT the answer. She said she felt that if she had just continued with the PT she was Rx'd before the first surgery she would have been better off. She is but one example. I have met other people who have had knee surgery and ended up no better or even worse. But I have also met others for whom it was very successful. So I ended up feeling it is one of those things where you pay your money and take your chances. sol multitoed wrote: > I'm scheduled for a knee arthroscopy for a meniscal tear. Guest guest
That's scary. They don't fix the tear, they just clean up the stuff around it than can be irritating. But with all the candida symptoms the pain is diffuse and hard to tell if it would go away with the stuff cleaned up. Thanks everyone for your answers to my questions.
