Guest guest
The advice from the mycoplasma group to " totally avoid " arginine does not reflect its extremely important role as a nutrient, including in the health of your immune system. If you want a healthy immune system, and that might well be the deciding factor in your mycoplasma cure, you will need arginine. Arginine is part of the growth and repair process too; for example, infection that can be stopped by strengthening collagen is commonly strengthened by using arginine and lysine, which are precursors for proline. See " Role of ornithine as a proline precursor in healing wounds " : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8105150 See also in Nutrition and Wound Healing that a therapeutic dose might be fairly high: http://tinyurl.com/3e9yo6 Eliminating nutrients generally doesn't yield positive results and there are other ways to reduce infection, including mycoplasma, without spurring on other disorders by accepting biological deficiencies. I think a more thorough knowledge of the role argine and ornithine play in health would be well advised in the whole mycoplasma group. And , 80% of the cholesterol in your body is manufactured by the liver. Even though mycolpasma may use it, your body also needs it and you can not escape using it.
