Guest guest
Hey, Kent--wassup? you promised us 'shine, possum pie, and turnip ice cream, not that californ-i-ay cuazeene junk! ;o) Judi Menu Well, you are going to have hot pear juice for the main drink, avacado ice cream to finish, and being in W. (by g.d) Virginia, you will have muskrat pie for the main course. Wish I could come, but probably not this year. Rick

New Jersey that is. :-) Now you know why I'm a vegatarian. Rick, you really need to get yourself out here. You've saying you want to come out for 3 years now. You've got a wife who is a pilot thus your airfare is free and you're retired. Throw caution to the wind and come visit your old stomping ground! Take care, Kent

Guest guest
Enjoy yourself, girl! Ling <My dear finance' has invited me out to a much needed " date " tonight and tomorrow with some R & R time WITHOUT KIDS AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. We don't dare leave the state with the health issues in our " family " , (else we'd fly to San Francisco and stay at the Magestic Hotel and eat on Fisherman's Wharf) but we are instead going to spend the night in the lovely Renaissance Hotel in Dallas (with room service breakfast on Sun), and eat a lovely gourmet dinner at The Old Warsaw. Keep my tiny feet from dancin!!!! :0 We NEED this few hours of respite, as only our true friends and close family will understand. With the help of Nulev (and my other stomach pills), my mouth is fairly watering to taste this wonderful food! It has been soooooo long! I can scarcely wait....and I'll be a scant hour from the boys should they need me, and will have my cell phone on of course. Even 's counselor said, " GO! " Love, >

Guest guest
> i ate today: > > meal 1:danonafat free yogort > meanl 2:2 veggie burgers and sallad with fat free dressing > meal 3: meyo lite bar > meal 4: ceaser salad, with chicken, and a coffee decaf (i had to go out to a restaurant) > meal 5: danona fat free yogurt and mellon > Hi Magdalena! Meal 1: The yogurt is fine for a carb, but you need to add a protein here. Maybe scrambled egg whites, maybe cottage cheese? Some poeple like to mix the yogurt and cottage cheese meal 2: Check the nutrition info on the veggie burgers, I expect they may be high in carbs. If you eat lean ground beef, you could have a ground beef pattie on whole wheat bread instead. Salad is great. Meal 3: This is fine if it fills you up till your next meal. Meal 4: Did you have the dressing on the salad? That would be a lot of fat. The salad and chicken without dressing would be fine then maybe some fruit for a carb. Other good restaurant choices are grilled chicken, fish, or lean steak, a plain small baked potato, and steamed veggies. Meal 5: You have a double carb here with the yog and fruit. Choose just one, and again, add a protein. You need a meal 6 Hope this helps! Lynda

Guest guest
Yes, I still struggle with the thoughts/feelings/emotions that food needs to be prepared. Me too! In fact I still teach raw food prep classes just so I have an excuse to play in the kitchen. At least we don't have a stove/oven in the house, but I never had this much fun with cooked foods anyway. Happy sunny Sunday to everyone - Shari
