Guest guest
Hi, Bonnie, I never had a single dilation. Instead I was diagnosed with A and I decided, after discussing my situation with people on this site, that I'd go ahead with a myotomy instead of having dilations. But I put off the surgery because my very beloved ie dog had cancer and I wanted to be with her to the end. Afterward, I returned to Cedars-Sinai and was told that my E. had become much worse and that the surgery was absolutely the right thing to do. Now I am having some old troubles returning and I am considering having a dilation. But I need to see my M.D. I know about pneumonia; I've had it six times, all of which were before I had my myotomy. I hope none of us ever get it again. It scares me. My lungs aren't so good at this point and I'd rather let that one slide away. Best wishes, Deborah, at the beach
