Guest guest Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 Because I don't like it, I don't use whey every day. Sometimes I miss several days as I really dread having to drink it. Wasn't so bad when I could put half and half in it, but now I'm off dairy again, it is really difficult to gag it down. So for those who mix whey powder with water, how do you stand it? What do you do to make it more palatable? I've tried different flavorings and sweeteners and even tried a flavored whey (Jarrow chocolate) but that was too sweet and had too many carbs per serving. I seem to remember reading whey should not be whizzed in a blender? I can't add fruit or put it in juices because that is too much sugar and carbs for me. I really want to get on a program of taking whey faithfully daily, but my dislike of it is preventing that. Does anyone else have to force themselves to take it?
