In Spain we used to put stuff, mostly figs, up on the roof...but, then

the roof was flat.

No pesky bugs, nor vermin on Ibiza....or they kept to themselves.

any other suggestions? I have not done this before and I do not want

to can them. My sister said in Italy they string them like peppers. I

might try that too.

Other fun in the sun is to bleach material...with stuff tacked on

top...I did a piece of lightweight denim...and basted some designs I

liked on it....all the rest faded 'cept under the designs....made a

skirt out of it.

Craft tip for the day,
