Guest guest
Do many people have a food intolerance towards whey? Perhaps this could be the reaction, an IgE response. Guest guest
Buddy, the most common negative response to whey is probably from the beta-lactoglobulin. Fortunately this is fairly rare, so if one has a reaction it's probably temporary and due to die off or some such similar. Guest guest
Hi Buddy, You were right! my husband did not have any kind of a heart attack and it was digestion. Apparently being on the candida-diet was not enough fiber. So we cut back on the meat and eggs and added some whole fiber foods and all his symptoms are gone. He did not have an intolerance towards whey (I do) but maybe he did as it did not help his digestion apparently. Guest guest
Cool! Even though digestive issues are a concern, it's not nearly as scary as heart issues. Guest guest
It's been a year and ahalf now that I quit all grains, starch, sugar, fruit and dairy, after following SCDiet for my Ulcerative Colitis but still having symptoms. My symptoms (mucus in the stool) stopped immediately apon stopping those things I just listed...thank you Duncun! I also began taking Whey, as well as started seeing a naturopath around the same time...both of which I still do. She started treating me for leaky Gut, started me on digestive enzymes and addressed all my digestive issues. I feel as though I am healed from UC, and tried to slowly add back in fruit and cheese, but every time I do, I become immediatley constipated and produce alot of mucus. My question is, how do I know if this is from my Ulcerative Colitis, or if this is a yeast problem? Will I never be able to add back these items? Guest guest
I asked about the selenium because without it one may not be producing enough glutathione, the master antioxidant and detoxifier that should help reduce irritation and mucous production. 200 mcg is kind of low-end but adequate if you aren't exposed to much arsenic, other toxins and metals that might deplete it. Sick people may need up to 3 times that, plus a double dose of the other precursors found in the undenatured whey. Guest guest
With pregnenolone I experience more energy, faster recovery, increased libido, and more alertness, regardless of whether I was also taking an HGH increaser for anti-aging. My wife and I alternate on the HGH enhancer every several months. We usually take Source Naturals pregnenolone Cherry 25 mg sublingual. all good, Duncan > > Can you share the specific benefits, please... > Was on it as a capsule several years ago by the recommendation of a holistic doc, > but never seemed to realize any clear benefits... > You take sublingual?...what kind? > d > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Pasha <pashamad@...> > " Coconut Oil " <Coconut Oil > > Sent: Saturday, September 10, 2011 11:20 AM > Subject: Re: Re: Question for Duncan > > >  >  Your thoughts about frequency and dosage? Guest guest
Hi Duncan: One thing for certain: my eyes have improved dramatically since I started your anti-aging and whey protocols, but since I also took Lutein, Zeaxanthin, and Astaxtanthin and lots of antioxidants during that period, it is difficult to say which did the deed... nevertheless, I am sure that they have been beneficial in many ways. Moreover, whey has become a primary nutrient for me... I am virtually addicted to its taste and it seems like the more that I use, the better I feel. Cheers, Jim >Research such as this paper <http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0039625700001405 <http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0039625700001405>> reveals much about the role oxidative stress plays in macular degeneration. I'd make sure to use antioxidants and especially whey and selenium, the glutathione increasers. Also, many things improve on an anti-aging program that focuses on regeneration, and I know a few people whose eyesight improved, one to such an extent that he no longer needed glasses. It's not an MD story but may be of interest. The fella is using SomaLife gHP to keep his HGH levels higher in adulthood and continued to report positive changes to his biology for more than five years. He is very pleased with additional benefits from starting on pregnenolone in the last couple of months. all good, Duncan<
