I've been fighting with candida for a while now. Went on diet plus

prescription drug (sulphur based?) and got good results but it came

back. Didn't want to stress my liver again, so I looked more deeply

into alternatives. I eat right and generally avoid prescription drugs

(esp. antibiotics), but I think stress, insufficient exercise and lack

of sleep contributed.

Besides the candida diet, I finally found that taking coconut oil plus

GSE seems to work. A woman I know recommended getting my own capsules

and filling them with GSE to be taken immediately. I fill 3 capsules

just before I take them, and do that 2 times per day. You normally

can't take very much GSE orally (in water) because it can burn your

throat, so the capsules allow you to ingest a much bigger dosage -

about 20 drops per capsule.

I also have been using coconut oil and sometimes GSE topically for my

feet and it's been working great. I've been fighting with this off

and on for about 6-8 years. In fact, I think it only became visible

in that time, but I now believe it has been going on for decades. So

it's good to finally get some relief.

So to summarize my program:

coconut oil - 3-4 tablespoons per day plus I use it to cook.

coconut oil - topically (athletes foot)

GSE - orally (3 capsules 2x per day) - with food is probably best.

GSE - topically. pool a little water on cupped hand, add about 5-8

drops of GSE, rub the hands together, then rub it into the affected

area - feet for me.

probiotics - don't take with GSE - space them out.

Also, on the diet I used alternate sweeteners like xylitol,

erythritol, and vegetable glycerin. I especially like erythritol.

Candida apparently doesn't like xylitol, but xylitol can cause a bit

of gastric trouble if you over do it. Erythritol is excellent, no

gastric problems at all for me.

hope this helps someone.
