Guest guest
I am a diabetic and prone to yeast outbreaks on my skin. Oozing yuck. At a suggestion on a diabetic list I started using bag balm on the broken out areas. This is somewhat like Vaseline and smells. However, it works twofold, it smothers the yeast and it soothes the skin. My outbreak is usually dead in 24 to 48 hours. It is available in farm supply stores or over the net. I started this can for other reasons in 1992, began using it for yeast about two years ago and it is about half gone. If it hurts, and it frequently does, I use a lidocaine ointment along with the bag balm, and this quiets down the painful stinging. You can also try plain yogurt. Now I have not used that on my skin, but I have used it when the yeast goes vaginal. That, thanks be, very seldom happens, mostly it is topical. I have no idea if the yeast is systemic, since the spores are everywhere, when the skin becomes vulnerable it can be the local airborne spores that attack me. Or even the yeast that is present on my skin, my clothing, etc. For the most part, it only gets bad after antibiotics, such as this past week, or when I am under great stress and don't follow the proper way of eating. They love sugar, and sometimes, so do I! :-) Helen M
Guest guest
, You might check with the oxygen email list. Maybe something like ozonated olive oil or ozone treatments might help? Some people from that list are on this list as well. Does your doctor have any idea about what to do? I am from maryland as well. I'd be interested in the doctor you are seeing. Feel free to email privately. I hope you find a healing protocol soon. <susbarb1@...> wrote: Hi my name is I each yoga and have gotten myself loaded with candida AGAIN from zpack, prenisone and Dunkin Donuts.
