Guest guest
What is the best thing to take for bone health? Many people have told me calcium is good, but the calcium supplements tend to make me very constipated. Not a good feeling. Calcium is very good BUT calcium needs magnesium in order to be absorbed. So, you need a calcium supplment that has half as much magnesium as calcium. This is a must....you can actually lose calcium from the bones if you don't have that magnesium with it. So, look for supplements with 1000 mg. calcium and 500 mg. of magnesium. The ratio is important. Calcium also works better when taken with some acid so you might want to wash it down with some lemon juice and water. Try liquid calcium plus magnesium. It absorbs faster and better. I never take hard calcium pills...my digestive system rebels! There is also a calcium formula in the files for this group. Gloria
Guest guest
even DMSO is good. What is DMSO for? The vet gave me some DMSO gel to rub on Oreo's tumor but she told me to make sure I wear rubber gloves so that I don't absorb any into my system. I forgot to ask her what would happen if I did. It's not toxic is it? Gloria
