Over a year ago I went ot the ear nose and throat specialist locally for pains

deep in right ear. Nothing. It kepts hurting, and I went back two weeks later.

She said there is nothing. Ive been away from work and the molds since. When I

get a bad hit, my ear aches, for sure.

Don't know why, or what that might mean, just know I experience that. Its

usually accompanied by a pain under my collar bone between the first few ribs.

???

[] ear pain

Im having trouble with severe ear pain even though there is no infection and

steroids dont seem to help it much. Has anyone had trouble with ear pain?

Janet,

I don't have severe ear pain but I have mild ear pain on and off and

ear itching and my throat is sore but the sore throat is common. I

think whatever bug is bitting my throat occasionally spreads to my

ears. My doctor in town here is checking out Candida. I will have

test results on Monday. Dr Shoe said I had staph infection in sinuses

so could be that too spreading. He hasn't told me what he is

recommending for that too. My first follow up with him has been

delayed by one test that he is waiting on. (It's been two months

since they drew the blood for it!!). For me it has been waiting and

waiting for help. My sore throat, over a year old. ENT doctor didn't

do anything but look with his 'eyes' and said my throat looked fine,

no culture. (There are LOTS of things you can't see with your eyes).

I don't know what to advise you. When I have ear pain, I take Vitamin

C and Zinc and try to get extra rest figuring if it's an infection,

that will help in long run.

IJanet,

Yes, I had a lot of ear pain mostly in my left. It was deep inside &

sometimes it felt like I had water in it. I thought I had a sinus infection

but my

family Dr. would say that I didn't. Since I have left my workplace and been

under Dr. Shoemaker's care I haven't had any problems with anything including

my ears!

Does it happen after an exposure?

Is it analogous to feeling pressure like in a plane? If so, a good chance

is the brain is *swollen* from the expsoures...this has been related to me

by md's who do enviro med.

Mine is from toxic exposures....brain swells according to dr and that in

turn creates pressure on the ear. NOt a true earache as in

infection.....If you have 02 go on it for 20 minutes.

---my ears swelled shut and the slightest noises hurt bad, while I was

in the mold. when I'd leave the house, clear liquid would drain from my

ears. I was told that the glands behind my ears were infected and had

swollen causeing the pain and pressure on my eardrums. In

Hi Janet, Yes, I did have a lot of ear pain. The paing was deep in my inner

ear almost to my jaw. I would also have a lot of pressure like you do when you

are on a plane. I haven't had any since leaving my school.

Sue

Does anyone else have trouble with horriffic ear pain? I take benadryl for

sinus and demerol from the doctor and today the drugs arent even touching it.
