Guest guest
This ingredient info is from the Primal Defense website > What probiotic species does Primal Defense® contain? > Lactobacillus plantarum Bacillus subtilis > Lactobacillus brevis Bifidobacterium breve > Bifidobacterium bifidum Lactobacillus paracasei > Lactobacillus salivarius Lactobacillus casei > Bifidobacterium lactis Bifidobacterium longum > Lactobacillus acidophilus > Lactobacillus rhamnosus The previous label info (below) was from Vitacost, I believe. So since PD used to claim both bacillus subtilis AND bacillus licheniformis, I guess they haven't pulled a fast one with the names. However, I was right in remembering PD did list bacillus licheniformis on the label. This is strange, but sorry for any confusion caused by my first post. I wouldn't bet on PD actually having removed the bacillus licheniformis from their product, though they have certainly removed it from the label. As far as I'm concerned from a prior incident in which this company outright lied to me about one product, I think they are a very untrustworthy and shifty bunch. sol > sol wrote: >> Primal Defense is created using the following species or their enzymes: >> Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus >> salivarius, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus paracasei, >> Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus brevis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, >> Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium longum, >> Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Saccharomyces boulardii. >>
