Guest guest Posted August 19, 2005 Report Share Posted August 19, 2005 When I stuck my finger in the Champion juicer (DON"T ASK!) they told me I'd lose most of the end of my finger and there was nothing they could do for me but bandage and give me tetnaus. Let them bandage but no tetnaus. I did go home and make a poltice of honey and golden seal. Slathered it on and went to bed. It was amazing how the stuff stayed just where the raw meat was. Next morning I showered and did it again. I think I only changed it in the morning and at night, but I have 99.9% of my finger and you wouldn't even know it was damaged if I didn't point it out. I was blending up comfrey at the time to put on a place that my horse crushed against a fence post. Mushy as hamburger!!! But I cut my finger to the bone and by morning it looked like it had been healing for a week.
